Keeping my fingers crossed for youThat means @ajrwdwgirl might have some days off?
ETA: Didn't read your notes until after I wrote this.
Waiting to find out if our Trip to Wisconsin in 2 weeks will be cancelled too.
The "run" on bottled water is in my area as well. We don't need it at home but all three of us take it to work and or school to drink during lunch. I'm gonna be at the front door of Costco tomorrow when they open. Gonna see if I can buy ONE case of bottled water. The toilet paper thing is not true in one large local supermarket from the area I live. There was plenty of toilet paper left.
A lot of people were buying buying a lot of water, soda and energy drinks there today. They had to place a limit on how many cases of water people can buy.
But this wasn't exactly about information.
It was a pretty hard 180 turn on decisions based on what was going on.
This was about controlling panic. People panic when they fear the unknown.
The rushes for toilet paper is a fine example of this panic.
By providing full blown control AND country wide tests.. it will diminish the fear and make people know that their government is doing something.

Probably many panicky people recently bought multiple cases. Someone my wife knows yesterday posted a photo of our Costco at 5pm. The shelves were totally empty where the bottled water normally is. This morning I went to Shop Rite at 7am so I could buy ONE loaf of bread.
I can't help you there, but I know there are multiple events canceled including shows, trade shows and the Flower and Garden show. The Saint Patrick's Day Parade even got canceled in my area. That means @ajrwdwgirl might have some days off?

At home we drink water in our cups...filtered water from the refrigerator. Have a good weekend. You know water comes out of your faucet at home right? If you don't have some.. buy some refillable bottles!
A district near us is having teachers report. I hope we do too, so that we do have to extend the school year.
I hope your trip is ok.
The Governor shut down all schools through March but one is Spring Break hereI can't help you there, but I know there are multiple events canceled including shows, trade shows and the Flower and Garden show. The Saint Patrick's Day Parade even got canceled in my area.
The canceling right now I think is through early April.
Our Governor is putting waivers into effect for attendance days so the school year doesn’t extend. Fingers crossed for you guys.A district near us is having teachers report. I hope we do too, so that we do have to extend the school year.

Will you have meetings next week to come up with a plan? I know that our teachers are not on vacation., nor do they want to be.
I don’t think a lot of people really want a forced vacation... especially if that means extending into the time of year where you would normally be on vacation.

Oh and Masses are cancelled until further notice.

Haven't heard anything from our district yet about it. Just the governor’s announcement that school will be shut down after this weds. Hoping our super will send us some more information tomorrow. Or soon.
Thanks. Hoping we can have the kiddos do some home work.
As of right now hubs is still planning on having services but no passing of the peace and communion servers will wash hands before serving (no common cup is ever used). Hubs will also live stream the services. Our church also has online giving and an app for offering.
The Ohio Governor was very clear today that this is not a “break”. Students will continue to learn during this time period.. teachers/schools/districts are working to each develop a plan that works best for them.
I don’t know if all states are saying the same.. I haven’t checked.
