Yah, I think we've all put off seeing some notable sights, from time to time. Then, by the time we decide to catch up, it's (sometimes) too late. (An old expression came to mind here: Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got, till it's gone.)
The next thing you know they will pave paradise and put up a parking lot.

If I were to name one thing in my life that makes me sad it is that since my back problems set in I cannot walk on beaches anymore. I guess it is the uneven, unstable surface. I made almost all my life changing decisions walking along Well Beach in Maine. It always let me think clearly and made important directions that I have taken. Two years ago I went to Myrtle Beach, another one of my favorites, I couldn't get over 50 feet before I had to turn around and drag myself back. It just hurt to much to continue. (sigh) All I can figure is that at my age making life changing decisions are a waste of time anyway.

So thats what James has . What do you cook for the rest of the family ?
he Tex Mex rice and beans is for James the smoked turkey soup is for everybody but me and I'm hoping they don't eat too much of my curried lentils and greens. I also made applesauce cake and waffles yesterday so breakfast time won't be hectic this week.;)
