This is one night I would not want to eat at your house. I never could eat seafood. I will be over for any of the other 364 days though.

I'm sure you would have had plenty to eat sans seafood. We also had salad sans fish, vegan mushroom risotto, pasta with marinara. I'm stuffed and I mostly picked except for the large salad.

It will probably slow down some for a month. March, April, and May were my busiest months this year. It was my first year, so we’ll see what happens this coming year. Since I got certified in another level, I expect it will be a bit busier.

Such a rewarding job you have...(mine too). Working with elementary children never gets old. Merry Christmas!

The weather is too hot outside for the part of Wisconsin I live in for this time of the year. for the next 2 days including Christmas. Tomorrow is supposed to be 52 degrees outside and Thursday is 55 degrees outside.

I forgot to share yesterday... hubs and I took our annual pre-Christmas trip to the Mall of American. We got there at opening of 8am and left around 12:30. We had breakfast at Cinnabon, walk all main levels and went into the stores we wanted, did the Fly over America attraction that had a fly to the North Pole overlay, and had lunch at Bon Chon for Korean fried chicken. Good times and by the time we left it was getting super crowded.

Oh and I had coupons for DSW and Bath and Body works. I didn’t see anything I wanted at either store so I gave the coupons to people in both stores. They were surprised and happy with the coupons. It made me feel good to help them out a little.

OK, I’m up. We got home from the cousin’s house about 1am but we didn’t get there until around 9:30pm.

It’s always a good time. Stepmom did not show up, which is good imo.

Ate stuff, drank stuff, chit-chatted. Some family tea is always spilled.

A good start! Let the relaxing begin.

Sounds like a busy day! We have a Bon Chon here... hubby loves it! I can take it or leave it.

Yesterday, right before everyone was ready to show up at my house... I started getting a sore throat.... and then I got a fever... ugh... because everyone was suppose to be there in a minute... I sucked it up and let them come anyway... I feel bad because I'm sure I've exposed them to whatever this hell is. Temp of 102 when everyone left at 1130p. Took a hot bath, piled on the blankets, took ibuprofen and mucinex PM, and sweated it out. Fevers gone today.... still feeling sore.... one more xmas to get thru and then unfortunately, I'll probably succumb to whatever this crud is!
