@Cesar R M , here are 3 pictures of birds for you. (Actually, I had taken these photos back in early September.) They were all in a local nature area.

Swan cruising in the lagoon.

Swan showing off neck flexibility to another swan.

And lastly (from a BIG distance, left-side railing), a red cardinal. I tried to get a closer picture, but he was camera shy and flew away. (However, I love wooden bridges, so that's the consolation prize here.) ;)View attachment 430331
the red cardinal is preeeeety!

Hopefully ex boyfriend if he ever pulls a stunt like this again!

Mystery Solved

Yeah, not really his fault. I have no idea how she couldn't realize that she would have needed to actually jump further or just walk around the bushes. At the same time he certainly wasn't paying attention to her, assuming he jumped over the hedge as well, and maybe that would be a foretelling of a future with him. He should have helped her if anything. he looks like he forgot about her.

Does anyone know how often the Build your Band site updates? At any given time it seems to show all the regular colors but then about 5 upgraded bands. Those upgraded bands keep rotating but there doesn't seem to be a way to see them all. And there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to when they switch out?

I have no idea. It does that to me too.

Gotta love Disney and their IT...

Short weekend. Leaving Friday afternoon, coming back Sunday afternoon. It's not long, but it's a needed break!

No Disney though, before anyone asks :hilarious: :hilarious: Just sunshine, blue skies, pool time, relaxation, and good seafood.
A good description is Marathon or Key Largo. Where the waters are always warm and the drinks are cold. Just watch out for the gators!

I wish we could see gators! I look for them every time I go to Disney, but no luck so far!
They used to be everywhere. There were a few babies living at BCV. After the incident where the kid was killed by one, they've stepped up their removal efforts. You used to see babies on Living with the Land too, but they removed those.

I've seen the most interesting wildlife in the walk from DHS to Boardwalk. An owl, a white duck that used to live there, a bald eagle that caught a snake and ate it...one time I saw an armadillo in Fort Wilderness bike riding (although friends from MD that moved to FL tell me that armadillos are the squirrels of Florida).

I'll raise you one (for @dryerlintfan ). ;)

I don't recall how many years ago this happened, but I was staying at WL. Since I'm an early morning person, I thought it would be nice (around 4:30 AM) to take a walk down to the wooden bridge (that has the boat shuttle launch at the end).

So, I'm walking toward the beginning of the bridge (just beyond the geyser), and a guy comes running up the wooden bridge and tells me not to go down there. He told me that less than 30 seconds ago, a full-sized gator climbed up on the bridge (he had been halfway down, smoking a cigarette), and he heard a swish -- it was the gator's tail!! He said he never ran so fast in his life, but at least he still had his cigarette in his mouth, so he didn't lose that! :hilarious:

I saw one near Tom Sawyer Island in MK once. That was an interesting day.
