Sure...why not, I mean the fur was just a nuisance.

Oh Chloe hated the combing and cutting her nails! She would cry! You would think we were hurting her.
Jasmine faked us out. I trimmed her nails like three days after getting her. She cooperated, was well-behaved, and I thought, "Oh, this will be great!". 🙄 Now you'd think we were ripping the nails out one by one. She used to attack when I did it, but it didn't really hurt because she was a kitten, so she figured out that it didn't work. Now she just whines.

Here in coastal SC the temp today went up to 78 and expected to drop to 28 by morning --50 degree change in temp. In the last couple of hours it's now down to 59 (dropping) and a cold rain. Glad I checked the fireplace out and brought wood from the wood pile up to the house don't think I'll be doing much outside tomorrow. Guess we aren't as bad as some in other parts of the country.

It's already below freezing, I can hear the air so I don't even want to think about tomorrow!!!!!! Something tells me a shepherd's pie and a cake is going in the oven early tomorrow
I made a test batch of cupcakes testing out a new gluten and dairy free cake recipe I found. Made funfetti style cupcakes with them. They are delicious. Youngest’s bday is Thursday, so I wanted to make sure it worked. Making the cake layers tomorrow and icing on Thursday. Cannot believe my youngest is turning her last single digit. It was just yesterday that she was free like Emy at Disney. 😔

Speaking of cats...Jasmine needs a bath again. My mom pointed it out this morning. She tried to wipe her off, but Jasmine did not go for it. I'm like, no, you must go into the laundry room, close the door, and plop her in the sink before she will comply. It's not really much fun for either of us, but whatever...
I always considered cats to be the cleanest in the animal kingdom. I have been with cats most of my life and never, never, never have we bathed them. I always thought that washing them took out some vital oils, etc. from their fur that could cause some problems, but then again, ours were mostly outdoor/indoor types until they got older. Our last one was pretty sick for the last week of her life and she stopped bathing herself and man you could tell. Enough to gag ya. But, even with in-house cats I have never known, until now, anyone that bathed them.
