I woke up to a warning email from the power company saying they are staging repair crews today but will not be able to prevent outages Guess who spent this morning making pasta with chick peas and a butternut/apple soup.

After having almost 4 inches of rain yesterday, today’s forecast is more rain and thunderstorms. Dreary and dark. Cold weather arrives tomorrow.

4 inches?! Wow! 72 today and 47 tomorrow here. Warmest Halloween in years and we cannot enjoy it. The wind just started howling outside.

Thanks but he came home to eat lunch, and they called him back in.

Here the bad weather comes. The rain is pouring and wind has kicked up a lot. No trick or treating. Kids are sad. Here I am thinking that I wasted money on candy again this year. Beat by mother nature and a stubborn town council or whoever makes these decisions.
