Not too much? Really? 6 inches will close schools, cause a mess with roads, etc. Guess Michiganers are tougher than us.

Yup... we are made of tough stock. Don't get me wrong..... over the years they have softened and schools will probably get closed. When I was in school... that wasn't the case. My work has "delayed" once in the 17 years I've been there. So I fully expect to have to go into work tomorrow =/

My dh's work never closes but they have a generous policy for leave during bad weather unless you draw the short straw and have to stay for the duration of the storm

Southeast is usually a few degrees warmer;) I may hit a couple of mornings of sub zero:cold::coldfeet::bawling::arghh::brb::brb::brb::brb::angelic:
Approaching 4pm. Just checked the forecast.
Brick NJ for Thurs. is forecasted to have a high of 16F with an overnight low of 9F
.................I know there are others on this forum who will have it worse, but I'd trade places with any southerners if I could.
My wife dreams of the day we can possibly be "snow birds".

Hope your husband feels better by tomorrow. Sorry to hear about your high school classmate. You're right, he was too young to lose his life to cancer.
Thanks. It's actually my son, not my husband, but PLEASE don't let my husband catch it!! I think DD might be coming down with it....her temp was a bit high and she wasn't feeling great. Hopefully they'll both be back to normal by Tuesday or I'll have to see if I can change my morning shift to an evening shift so I can be home with them.
