Double OUCH!
I know. The prices are not comparable at all. I couldn't believe how cheap the Uni tickets were. It's ridiculous. The Uni prices make more sense than the Disney. If my kids were not so keen on going to Disney in May, I would consider Universal. Basically $1800 for a pass. I think a 7 day hopper for all of us costs more than that.

Mine was taken on the bead wall that goes between the hotel and convention center... and it was actually purposeful, my best friend designed (and knitted) that sweater I'm wearing, and she wanted a picture for her pattern release.

Well I thought you, the sweater and the beads were pretty, now knowing someone actually made that sweater so beautifully, awesome!

Ok I need advice on our upcoming WDW trip please. We are thinking about doing the Disney after dark. We have two options that week-HS or MK. It is $125 each plus free snacks and drinks inc. plus a lot of rides. Should we and which park would you do? Thanks guys for your feedback..😊
I don't see the value for the money. It's more than some one day tickets. Even with snacks, I still don't see the value.

That being said, if you decide to do it, do MK. The only real advantage for Studios is shorter lines in TSL, but MK has more to offer.

Unless you're still living with DVC owners and paid $500 something for the renewal. :joyfull:

My Hershey one was the least painful. $149, I got a free one day ticket to take a guest, and I pay it off $18.50 per month.
Can my family of 6 move in with you?;) I still don't get why it is so darn expensive. Our first AP when we bought them back in 2008 was I think 5 something. Sure still expensive, but we only needed to buy 4. They should have an option to pay monthly like Uni and Hershey. They have the option for Florida residents, why not everyone else?

We are hoping to do a MK after dark this year, didn't line up with the last several trips for us. As nice as it would be to get into Toy the balance of the park has little to offer. My DD on the last day did do the Early Morning Magic hours that included breakfast. She hadn't got on Slinky nor Mania enough.

What is nice about the Disney after Dark is the low maximum attendance which is usually 3-4000 guests. Very much like the original Halloween and Christmas Parties were of yesteryear. The parties now can balloon upwards of 25,000 guest and that without every attraction or show being open though most are at the Parties. Also be on the look out for Passholders special extra hour events to re-boot. Those were the best for us in 2018.
We had the morning AP event at Toy, just walked on and off everything over and over and that same night we also attended Epcots AP. That event was awesome as all the attractions were open and everything except Frozen was a walk on. Best it was free to AP holders.

Willingness to try most events once. I'd like to attend one at Typhoon someday, so far just DVC members, not buying a DVC for a special event. :cautious::joyfull::cyclops::)

I’m on my way to pick up T now.. he’s going to be over the moon!!!!! P.S. it’s my first white car ever. First time I’ve left black. I was running late so didn’t even have time to have it detailed.. we’ll go back together as soon as he’s finished. I’m outside waiting now.. T’s clinic is over at 11:45., I’ll walk in right before then. Can’t wait to see his reaction!!!

Don’t worry., I was safe taking the photos while driving.. even though it looks bad. lol.
The mirrors are so big!!

Now I gotta learn the Jeep Wave ;)

Awesome! And Merry Christmas to you is right! Made me smile real big for you!

Welcome to the jeep family!! I have a renegade. 😉

Awesome!!! The Wrangler was actually a certified pre owned. First time I’ve ever purchased a used car!! BUT, it’s the new JL,2018 and it has 10,000 miles on it.. someone bought it in June of ‘18, traded it in last week because of the fuel economy lol.

It’s a Sahara with every available option and both tops from the factory., $8600 less than a new one.. 10,000 miles is worth $8600 in savings to me!!!

Nice! My cousin has my step grandpa's 1993 Jeep. He did some work in it and upgraded the radio. It's great for them since they have five people

I'm definitely a fast car girl...:hilarious:

Can he come over in the Spring and help me change the top?🤣🤣

I have no idea how I’m going to remove the hard top and put on the soft top!! This one has a package with the Alpine sound system- speakers on the roll bar. I can’t wait to drive it with the top down!

Congratulations!! I hope you enjoy driving it! I assume T loved the surprise. I can imagine the jaw drop. :)

He was like “Wait, what? Is this really ours? No way. No way. This is EPIC!!” “Wait, are you serious, mom? Really?”

If I remember the thought process for Florida Discounts way back when...it was like a gesture of payback to the state and state residents. All the theme parks really do mess up everyday life for those using roads etc where the FL reside and seem to be stuck forever in a state of construction and honk'n big trucks on their roads bring materials in the various resorts and parks. I'm good with any of the FL parks having perks for their own residents.

Thanks! I was hoping you or someone had attended one. I think I have decided to do MK based on the more things to do. It is on dh's birthday too which is very nice too. ;)

Not to mention they're more likely to hop in for a meal and maybe some merchandise;)
