It is a cute house, indeed!
I wish I had a pic of the ink on a sheet of 36"x24" vellum, two point perspective rendering, the one partner (there were two - one graduated from UT and the other from OU - college football season was always a hoot in our office...!!!!!!!

) did for client presentation...such artistic detail, and I can still picture it in my my mind (and that was back in '81) to this day.
And, this architect was also known for always sketching a small hidden armadillo in the foreground foliage of all his renderings. NO JOKE!!! That might have been before Hidden Mickey's were even a thing...!!!!!!!
Also, one other story about that particular architect I worked for all those years ago...
The firm I currently work for also did some projects many years ago for a builder that we also did projects for at that first firm I worked for.
At one point, he and myself got into a conversation about the architect I just talked about. We both agreed he was a talented hoot! Then he related a story to me that didn't surprise me at all...
The builder, who literally officed right next door to us in that first firm, and the architect, were due at a meeting in 45 minutes to meet with the client when the builder showed up to drive them there. The floor plans were done, but, not a rough exterior rendering for the clients to give them an idea of what the front elevation would look like, as was promised.
The builder told me he was miffed.
But, the architect told him not to worry, as he would have a rough perspective sketch for the clients ready by the time they got there in 45 mins. He did the entire sketch on trash sketch paper with a Flair pen on a small drawing board in his lap for the entire 45-ish minute drive, and it turned out fabulous!!!
He told me he never worried about his deadlines after that, and we both had a good chuckle of our experiences working with and for him...he was definitely an incredibly talented architect and draftsman, and I am forever grateful for what he, and the other partner, at that first firm, taught me...!!!!!!!!!!!
