Love this!!!
Was this weekend where there were people coming to watch all the kids as kind of a pre-tryout for next years clubs? Or was that last weekend? I hope the weather clears up for you!! Maybe if you set up fans and we all blow really hard?
Leading the pack this morning. Littlest dd was super excited because today was her first time on SM.

There seem to be issues posting pictures right now. Wifi issue I guess. Anyway no fp’s this am. Hit SM twice, BL, HM, ate bfast in Liberty Square at the kiosk. Just some fruit, crackers, and trail mix. Did the treehouse because dd10 insisted. Now at Tiki Room.
Good luck! I hope it's ok to miss a tryout. At least they talk to his current coach so they can get an idea of how he plays. Sounds exhausting though. This weekend and last, but only at his normal game, not at the tournament. I emailed the club last night and asked if he could miss a tryout because of a conflict with baseball. The director said ‘Yes’, T can attend one night of tryouts, and they’ll rely on his current coach’s assessment as well as the game assessments for the rest.
I hope I made the correct decision there. We missed 1 baseball game last weekend due to a soccer tourney conflict.. and he’s going to a baseball game for only 1 hour tomorrow, then leaving early to head straight to a soccer tourney game. We have another baseball game conflict on one of the 2 nights of soccer tryouts. I don’t think it’s fair to his baseball team to miss. T is one of 3 kids who can actually pitch decently.. the coach was upset when T had to miss last Saturday, he had planned for him to pitch again.
I’m trying to juggle and be fair to both teams As best as possible. I am praying that missing a tryout will be ok.
Hooray!!! How did she like it!!!
Wait, you have to be asked to do the treehouse?!?!?! It’s still one of my favorites!
My guess is the one by the garage is in order to hide it. Garages facing the street aren't ideal. I think having an entrance for the garage on the side of the house is better. It takes away from the prettiness of the house if the garage is road facing. Like in this house they have a garage on the side, and a front facing one. They need to camouflage the front facing one I believe.
It has been raining here all week. Miserable. My mom just called me from T’s game..
Good news, although it’s pouring here, it’s not raining where they are.
Bad news- only 3 kids from the other team are there. Game starts in 1 minute.
I’m assuming the weather west and north may have caused more traffic incidents.
Sending {{HUGS}} for all of you. I'm so sorry he had a rough day but everybody seems to have gotten the situation under control much better than in his old class. I'm sure he'll do much better on the next tripDS had a rough day today. There was an event today that they took the 5th and 6th graders to, and they had to walk there and back. It's not really that far, but when you have 4 classes of kids, it's a big thing to get them all to walk together. Anyway, there was one of those swing rides like at carnivals, where it's kind of a Carousel, but with swings instead of horses, so as it goes around, the swings go out a little bit. DS LOVES them, but the guy operating the ride did this thing that most of the kids loved....he'd grab the seat as it went by and then when he let it go, it went higher and faster. DS is afraid of heights and it completely freaked him out and he had told the guy before the ride started that he didn't want to do that or something...anyway, he ended up screaming his head off and as soon as the ride stopped he bolted. So the teacher followed and had a talk with him about why he ran away, etc. Then they were walking back to the school and some of the kids were teasing him about it and he was getting really mad, and then one of the boys who is usually his friend started trying to get past him on the sidewalk and told him to move, but the sidewalk wasn't wide enough and DS wouldn't step into the street because the street is for cars, not for pedestrians, (he's a stickler for the rules) and so the kid pushed him. So they got back to the school and he ended up going to the special room they have there for when kids get angry or overwhelmed, etc...they can go to this room and then one of the teachers or psychologists will follow and talk to them about why they got upset and try to work it out with them. So it all got worked out, but poor little man was really upset when he came out of school. He did exactly what he was supposed to do though. I guess it was a hard day for everyone...an event that is full of stimulation, but also not the usual routine...DS isn't the only one who had issues. I saw one kid come out with a towel of ice over his eye....a classmate had a baseball cap that he had set on the ground and the kid decided to try it on and the owner of said cap got mad that he was "stealing" his hat, not understanding that he wasn't taking it, and he punched him in the face. TGIF!!!
People have people that do things for them in their houses????? I need a couple of those!EZZZZACLY!!!!!
The deed restrictions of this particular developement (and the vast majority) require sufficient screening of front-facing garages, as well as utility, A/C pads, pool equip, trash/recycling receptacles, etc., etc., etc.
if you can afford homes in those price points, you can surely afford those extra "chump change" slight PITA. And most have "people" to do that for them !!!!!![]()
Did the other team show up?My mom just called me from T’s game..

If it was snow that would be really weird for this time of year although we have gotten hail before.Sympathy like, look on the bright side at least it's not snow
The big kids are not impressed by it. I don’t mind it. You get a nice view from the top. This weekend and last, but only at his normal game, not at the tournament. She loved it the first time, so she wanted to go again and sit in the first seat. When we came off the second time, she said she kept popping up off the seat because the lap bar was more loose than the first time. She said she didn’t want to sit in the front seat snymore. We have fp’s for it tomorrow night. Wonder if she will want to do it again or pass.
