Not sure why, but this reminded me (not about lollipops) but of spiked eggnog.

At one point, I had a hairdresser who used to bring booze, for the holidays, into her salon. So I went in one Saturday for a "trim" and apparently, it was spiked eggnog day, and she made it herself . . She gave me a full glass of this (it was delicious, by the way) and I drank it down, while she was cutting my hair.

I have this thing about long bangs, but she said my eyes would really sparkle, if I had shorter bangs. Feeling all relaxed from the eggnog, and in a festive holiday mood, I said, "O.k., cut them a little bit shorter."

Big mistake--I ended up looking like Mamie Eisenhower!

Why does he still work there anyway? sounds like a real case for everyone.

Could be any number of reasons...
Even though he's a snot, the powers that be feel his usefulness offsets that? He's
managed to hoodwink the powers that be?
Mercy hire...they don't wanna' let him go 'cause no one else would hire him, and he (and family, if he has one) would be destitute-ish?
I've worked with 'em all, and more. But, at some point ya' gotta' let 'em go...they're toxic to the work environment, and they bring others morale and productivity down.

I got Belle. Why did I bother? I get Belle every single time. Doesn't matter what type of Disney princess quiz it is; if Belle is on there, I am Belle. Especially live action Belle; I'm even more like her. Also, the amount of books I've read according to Goodreads the past few months is a bit scary.

It's like why I don't bother with Star Wars character quizzes anymore because even though it would be cool to get Rey, I'm 100% Leia. All. The. Time. One time my friend and I kept taking Star Wars character quizzes because she wasn't happy with her results. She got Darth Vader, Jar Jar, Threepio...she finally got Padme and was happy. I took those same quizzes. Leia, Leia, Leia, Leia...

It is indeed.
The prep for the Dell Technologies Match Play tournament every year is fun to watch as I commute to and from the firm.
The course gets slowly greener and greener, the tents go up, the bleachers go up, etc.
They still don't have nearly all that stuff down yet...!

Weather rant coming on. Good Morning by the way!!! I checked the weather forecast for tomorrow. After scaring us with the potentiality of 3-6 inches or more for tomorrow, which made me make a hotel reservation, (which I decided to prepay to get the better rate and cannot cancel), now the amount predicted is less than 1 inch!!! Originally they had snow all day, but now it is supposed to snow during maybe one hour tomorrow here and there. Now I am not complaining that we will get next to nothing, because that is great, but these weather people really have to get it together here. For all I know we will wake up to a foot of snow for all their great and accurate forecasting.
