Ok, I am seriously sick of being sick.Started Sunday night I don't know if it is stomach flu or food poisoning but, ugh! I thought I was better, went about my normal life yesterday, and I am paying for it today. The kicker is, I feel alright. I just have to suddenly out of the blue run to the washroom. And I am B-O-R-E-D! So many thing to do, and none of them getting done. *sigh*
Sympathy like. I've had a cold for over a week now, and had the flu before that, and my cough still hasn't gone away. I have a follow up with my allergist tomorrow; I'll probably just ask him for an antibiotic since it's been weeks and I'm still not well.

Not a mom fail. That's really short notice from the school, first off. What if you had needed to buy a jersey?? Plus your kid didn't mention it, which knowing T means it wasn't that important to him. Because he's a persistent little ******!

Yes, this. He's old enough to relay messages.

They didn’t tell them, I guess it was a last minute decision. At first I thought he may have been too distracted by his plans for a leprechaun trap, but I asked him after school and he said “I was the only kid in my class who was wearing a uniform! I asked my teacher, she said they emailed the moms. PLEASE check your email next time.” He said “Everyone laughed at me!”

I did call the school secretary and ask if I could bring him clothes at lunch time, she said there was a few kids who missed the email as well so not to worry about it...but apparently not in his class. :(

Oh well. Toughen him up I guess.

My kids don't own any college gear.

T has a plethora of OSU gear, 1 Xavier shirt and sweatshirt, but shockingly refuses to wear any clothes from my alma mater these days, so I’ve stopped buying them.

Out of uniform days are a huge deal for them.. typically we have to “earn” them via fundraising or something. This was just a random one apparently.

We had a “Wear your favorite catholic high school team’s spirit wear” during Catholic schools week.. he does NOT own any high school spirit wear yet.. I had to borrow from a friend.
I’m not pushing him on that front, he bounces back and forth between 2, I’m ok with that now. I know where I’d like him to go..but I want it to have his input when 7th grade rolls around and we have to start talking seriously. We have time..but, A lot of the parents already their kids wearing backpacks and spirit wear, almost on a daily basis, to their preferred high school already.lol.

Thanks!! Another possibility! Have you stayed there before? Or is that a possibility for your family on a future trip?
Never stayed there. My neighbor is going to try it out in 2 weeks. I will let you know her opinion. Some other friends said Mystic Dunes is really nice as well and their rates she said go between $80 and $130 for condos. This time we are doing the Fort and the Double Tree on Resorts Blvd. I wonder if the 60 day EMH and FP will be permanent to their hotels. Can you imagine if the long term plan for Disney is to have all their resorts DVC and let those who just want "a room" stay elsewhere?

I am thinking they just mean campers, not the cabins. If you have an RV or a tent and gear, then you need to have a vehicle with you. The cabins are basically a room. And at the moderate rate, that would be $19 per night. So, if you park your car, and rent one of those golf carts...Then you are racking up a bit of a bill. Good for Disney, not so good for the customer.
Hence my . It's not that magical.:cautious:
