Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
Been listening to the Monsters' Inc. theme while trying to write a paper that's due tonight. Fell asleep at 11:00pm, woke up at 6:00 am, downed 3 coffees and barely ate anything. Ugh. Current mood:

Ugh. I focus better when there is background noise. My DD needs quiet, always that way, reason why 3 of the 4 years at her University she had a single dorm room.

She is currently in Grad School working on her Masters in Engineering with a focus somehow in the world of computers I won't pretend to understand, just proud of her focus and dedication. Anywoo there is a great deal of tip-toeing happening here and made more difficult by the amount of snow and cold temperatures. Wishing today she was a bit more like you and had that Monsters Inc soundtrack in the background.

Hope your paper turned out well, proud of you for the goals you have set for yourself. Best Wishes. :inlove:

I’m good. I relocated down to Indianapolis - the winter is a lot more bearable! Just chillin’ with my buddy...

Awe. Happy it is working out well for you a State's worth farther south. My DD went to the University of Illinois-Urbana which is pretty close to even South wise to you guys. 2 years she had better weather than us up North and 2 years were worse, a weird weather line in Central Indiana/Central Illinois.

Hope you guys are settling in well. My DD BFF is doing her residency, she attends Butler University near your guys, sleep deprived. The love of her life is a new Horton's. Give her Caffeine and awesome pastry and I guess she can power through the ridiculous hours. (Me, I'm having a hard time believing a child that pee'd in our pool is now a doctor. :cyclops: ) Old is I.

Nice to see the kitty has settled into her new digs. Hope the Horsies are doing as well. :inlove:

I threw off Jack's perfect dog world this weekend. One of his favorite things is scavenging in the little basket in the bathroom. He thinks it's his toy box. Finally, I got tired of finding chewed up pieces of paper, toothpaste boxes, etc. strewn sll over the floor.

Went to Target and bought a small metal basket that has a foot step, that opens up a lid on top of the basket, and the lid then closes. Voila. He can't get in it. He was moping around yesterday--standing in front of it with a forlorn look on his face. :hilarious:

We have that issue with our dogs. I guess I have yet to reach your level of annoyance yet because I just keep uprighting the basket instead of getting a sturdy one with a lid.;)

I hope you bought him some nice new toys and a steak for taking away his happy dog time

I never had a dog that knocked over the garbage can. My boys have been known to not pay attention to what they we're doing and walk into one every once in a while and down it goes.:cautious::banghead:

Poor Jack! Maybe he will figure out how to open it eventually.

We had that problem with our old Henry too. We got a covered basket for the bathroom and had to put the kitchen one up on a little stool.
