I must live under a rock what the heck is Big Brother? I haven't even heard of it.

Its 2 things depending which side you want to concentrate..

On the Entertainment side: Its a real life non acted drama TV show where "contestants" get locked down in a house to live with complete strangers. They compete to win a price to be the last one in the home. And they are filmed 24/7.
They get voted down by callers (a la Idol) and are given challenges to make things spicier. Also as time went by. TV managers constantly increased the odds by inserting more unstable individuals and even celebrities in these locked down homes.

Big Brother was pretty much the first show that created all realities that spawned (like Survivor).

Big Brother in the political way, is based on the ideal of "Big Brother is Watching You" from George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty Four.
Where a totalitarian state ruled by party.. yields total power on the inhabitants who are 24/ under surveillance (pretty much what England, Israel, the USA and many modern nations have now doing to their own citizens)
All to maintain status quo. Now used as synonym for abuse of government power and damaging of civil liberties.

I was meeting a friend around 5pm so had time to visit the Science Museum after I had picked up my passport.
They have an interesting space exhibit.
This planet kept changing while a recording gives you facts. This is Mercury, the smallest planet and closest to the sun, it orbits the sun in 88 days. The planet also changed into the sun, Mars, a moon of Jupiter, Earth and very distant planet that just had a number.

A great display of replica space crafts and gear. Among other things it explained how astronauts go to the toilet and sleep.

On the top floor of the museum is an exhibit on the history of flight. There was a replica of the first ever hot air balloon, they used hay to make it fly, and several other aircrafts. Lighting was poor so I couldn't get very good pictures.

Thank you I'll pass on that.

I'm jelly. My day was spent cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and trying to stay warm
