I don't wear any perfumes at all because of my asthma. I can do lotions with a mild scent, but I don't wear any perfume. My mom threw out her perfumes and hasn't bought any since.

I can walk in Norway for a few minutes to look at jewlery without getting tight. Italy I avoid entirely, as with one of the shops in France. Italy is by far the worst, though. I give that shop a wide bearth.

Sympathy like. On the upside a bag of Epsom salt is cheaper than Basin items.

I just relieved my car of its ice cocoon. The snow turned to ice and now it is raining. It is supposed to remain rain so that is good but for the 2 inches of slush on the road surface of the driveway and sidewalk.

Sympathy like. I hope it's all gone by now

So, I found out literally 10 seconds ago that my Eagle Scout Board of Review is this this Tuesday, the 13th! I'm literally on the verge of a nervous breakdown!

I'd wish you luck but I'm sure you won't need it. You covered all your bases. Sending some pixie dust to steady your nerves.

I can't remember the last time we had flu shots...and I also can't remember the last time any of us had the flu...

I used to think it was more prevalent in the colder climates, but apparently (at least this year) it's every state in the country. Also heard this morning on the news, that this flu may not be a one and done. Some people are getting it twice!!

As a side note: a neighbor (he's 69) got the flu a month ago and ended up hospitalized for a few weeks. He caught bad pneumonia with it.

same thing with me, well without the asthma, but I get headaches if I'm in a small space with people wearing a lot of perfume/cologne. For example, I was at a wake the other day and started getting a headache from the boatload of people and smells that where there.

But I love Geir at Norway. I shall buy it one day and hopefully won't get a headache from it.

Unless, you're gray AND totally bald and nobody knows you're gray...!!!!!

Might I point out that gray hair is easily altered to not be gray anymore. Bald is much more difficult to disguise.

I'll be honest, unless you are Bert Reynolds and can afford the quality "wigs" they can all be spotted from the surface of Mars. Bald, at least, is natural looking and not like a sickly raccoon decided to take residence on top of ones head.

Yesterday was interesting to say the least. About 6 inches of carp, the over to sleet and freezing rain and back to snow. We have a 2 hour delay as of now. I'm wondering if that's just wishful thinking. Tonight's dinner southern fried groundhog

Watching first day of the Olympics right now. Curling is on and it is a back and forth between USA and Canada. Yes, not the most exciting sport but the red and yellow rocks are pretty. I had to put in the colors because I didn't want to be taken out of context.
