Thanks!
I just got back from running to the store to pick up an item I forgot yesterday after work.
It's definitely hurricane-ish out there, although we are in a lull with the rain, for now. I can't remember the last time I saw this much wind here (other than the fact that us Texans are well-known for bein' kinda' full a' wind, anyway :D ;)).
It looks like Harvey ground-zeroed our beloved Port Aransas. Have yet to see pics, but, it can't be good.
Anyway, like I posted before, I'm surprised it took this long for Texas to get hammered by a major storm again.
Prayers to all affected...
Stay safe.

@donaldtoo , I just read about 15 minutes ago (it's 5:28 a.m. here now) that it's been downgraded to a Category 2 storm (from 4). so that's helpful. Not that a Category 2 storm is what anyone wants, but to hear that it's down a bit is a slight relief for some, I suppose.

Stay safe, friend. Prayers to all in Texas in the affected areas.
Sometimes storm cat 2 and lower is worse.. because the entire power of the hurricane (in winds and humidity) transform into pure rain downpours.

I hope they get all the growing pains figured out soon. Nothing new is perfect on launch day. I hope that talking through his worries helps your son feel more comfortable in his new school, too. Again, sorry you're going through this!!
I'm sure he'll be fine...he had a rough week sleeping, but we have therapy started now, too, where he is supposed to learn how to handle these situations, etc. So as the routine gets more familiar and he learns more coping strategies, it should get easier for him. I just wish it wasn't necessary...I hate seeing him so upset.
