Yea, that's what I thought. No answer.

Certain people here, even at their age, for some reason, still don't know what the meaning of self control is. Just sad.
I don't come here for politics, and I damn sure don't want to see any more of it on this thread after requests, upon requests, upon requests, from mods.
Stop!!!!! What is wrong with you?!?!?!
This is the **** that messes up sooo many threads...grow up or go away already...!!!!!
AGAIN...
KEEP YOUR DAMN POLITICS OUT OF THIS THREAD, PLEASE!!!!!!!

Reading this from a purely objective point of view, it seems like the racing was a backdrop for the real reason--getaway weekends of fun with a group of people. (I'm not a big group person--I kinda like my space, but I also know that there are plenty of people who really like to be around a bunch of pals.)

I'm a space person too. But I met many of these folks over the years as car people come over and help other car people with their cars. It was a unique group of people that seemed to genuinely enjoy each other. The driver of the car next door just didn't know how to let it go if something went wrong on race days. His wife, my dear friend would walk up on her deck where I could see her from my property. Shake her head sideways if something went badly with the race or the car...meaning don't talk to him.

I wasn't a fan of the break out the margaritas in the motor home on the way to the track even though it wasn't far away though. The motor home pulled a huge car trailer. They loved the life. They worked to race. Husband one year just quit as it was a bad racing year though I didn't believe it would stick. He bought a Harley (again) they joined a riding group. Did a few meet and greets with the motorcycle group and came home one day from work and killed himself.

I'd definitively point more attention on the puppy until the last seconds of the eclipse. XD

The eclipse even though not total was cool. I had safe glasses as did my DD from the Camera store. They had a filter on the telescope so we were able to see the burning red version that the glasses didn't afford. Seeing both well in 5 minutes the puppy was far more fun after that. He also had glasses on for a while. The owners grandchild asleep in her stroller for the entire eclipse had glasses on too.
The brownies and the puppy were my favorites of the sponsored event. Glad I was invited. The owners son that owns the camera place operates this branch and is bestest friends with my son from young. We were treated well for the special event. The Pup was the most welcoming since the employees were distracted by the event.

I'm sorry I couldn't answer you sooner. I was at the ER with a family member. But thanks.

Well it seems my DD has fallen asleep.

Wine wasn't the culprit. Apparently there was apple which she is highly allergic to in her dinner that wasn't in the description. Enter epi pen. Enter Ambulance. Sucidoodles. Family first. :inlove: Always. :inlove:

Hope she is better

Thanks. Appreciated. It was a freak out moment but I pretended to be calm. *melt down inside* She can't breathe in situations like this and an inhaler is useless. But the Epi worked however that is a medical transport... a mandatory transport to hospital. sigh. She will be fine. Me, not so much. Oy.
