I use my profile page to keep a count on my WDW trips. I went back and counted once a few years ago, and now I just keep track with my profile page.

One of my friends and I have been friends since we were very young (as in basically babies). She's eight weeks older. I told her now that we're both 21 and it's no longer cooler to be older, I'll start referring to her as "old lady". She says, "Excuse me, but I prefer cougar.":hilarious:

Oh my, you are Disney veterans! I've been to WDW at least 5 times, though I don't remember the first time as I was too young, and there may be one time that I'm forgetting. But I've only been to DL once, and I was less than a year old, so I have no recollection of it. Hubby has been to WDW 3 times now, and my kids twice. I'd really like to go to DLP, but it will be a while before we can do that. We're planning a trip in the fall to Dublin, so we'll have to save money for a year or so before we can afford anything else. Do you go to Disney every year?

We have tried to go once a year since 2002. We skipped 2007. We have gone more than once during some years. It does help when you just have to go in your car and drive as opposed to needing plane tickets. ;) Maybe your DH needs a transfer to The States. :)

Yep, DS will be ok...I have a sneaking suspicion that they are going to say he has a light form of autism, but he was also flagged for the possibility of ADHD, and Anxiety. Testing was done last week and we're just waiting for results. I'm more worried about the bullying, to be honest, because it's not just him, but anyone who is nice to him. So there is this small group of kids who make sure he's isolated and has no friends. For the first time ever, he didn't want to go to school.
Was your son bullied because of his health issues? Kids do seem to prey on the vulnerable.

Again, great news about the work situation, and good luck with your evaluation...!!! :)

DS was flagged at a pretty young age for ADD/ADHD, by his pediatric neurologist, and was originally put on Ritalin. Unfortunately, the Ritalin basically turned him into a zombie, so we tried Adderall instead. That pretty much did the trick for him. He took Adderall for several years, and then we started to reduce the dosage over time, until by the time he was about midway through his sophomore year of HS he wasn't on any meds anymore, and hasn't needed any since.
It worked for him. We monitored things with him as well as we could, and went with our gut.
He was also flagged as being on the autism spectrum, and also as having Asperger's, although not the reclusive kind. It can all be so confusing and overwhelming at times. He is doing well, though, and is still working at the Salvation Army store within walking distance of DWifeys office.
Hope y'all can dial in the right treatments for your DS, once all the test results are in and y'all have a better idea of what you're dealing with.

As far as the bullying goes with DS, it happened some, but, it was pretty minimal, considering. The staffs at all of his schools were pretty much on top of stuff like that, especially when it came to the special needs kiddos.
Our "normal" youngest DD actually went through worse bullying at one point in HS, and I know I've already posted about how I took care of that.

We want to go to Europe as soon as the "little" guy is gone.

I got all my errand done:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull: Every store was packed and then some:eek::eek::eek: but I should have expected that considering some people couldn't get out until yesterday, heck some churches cancelled services this weekend knowing some of the far back roads still aren't great. The boys did a really good job shoveling while we were gone:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:, now they get to pick what they want me to make for dinner tomorrow :( Seeing I don't feel like a shut in I may stay home tomorrow and start a project:joyfull::D:angelic:

Haven't a clue about Disneyland--never been there. But I'm thinking that Disneyland is much smaller than WDW, and the chances of them having on-site services there are probably slim, since WDW did away with (at least the Catholic services) years ago. (Yet, WDW "might" still have some services on Christmas and Easter only--but not sure which denominations are covered.)

Also, I'm not familiar with the area around Disneyland either, but it may be that there is a church from your religious denomination (I know you're not Catholic--I was just using that as an example only, above) that may be close by--unlike my outside "travel" experience with WDW (below).

In WDW, I know that in the past on Easter and Christmas, they'd have (Catholic) services at the Contemporary; and they used to have weekly Mass at the Polynesian (luau area). I'm not sure they offer services at all on even the 2 major feast days anymore on site. For some years now, they've been telling people to go to the large church up in Orlando. I did that on two separate vacations, if I was at WDW on a weekend, but it was pricey with the taxi round-trip. Funny, I recall all the fare money and tips I paid to the taxi drivers; but then I'd toss just a buck into the collection plate at church--somehow, the whole scene seemed a bit lopsided, you know?! :p
