I haven't had any problems with ads poppin'.
At least not on my phone.
I haven't used the new-ish MacBook in a while.
DWifey uses it more than I do. I'm so used to using my phone now, I just mostly stick with it.

I saw a post from WDWMagic, I think maybe in the Members Lounge that explained how something with new ad software having a bug in it and things were wiggy for a little while. Obviously it wasn't a lengthy thing that he was able to workout.

They sat my sister on a jury a few months ago and the trial lasted several days so don't count on the being a lawyer's daughter. They had to continue court cases she had with her clients when she was chosen to sit on a jury. Blah!

I'm sure it can vary by state, but I know here, the moment they find out you are an attorney or you are related to one, you are out the door. Both my parents got to leave halfway through the day the last time they were on jury duty.

Nope no travel agent or anything. Just thought it would be nice to go since they had never been since they knew about character breakfasts and some rides there must have been some knowledge from somewhere. She just thought she would message him for a few tips. Well she got her fair share of tips! I just find it strange that anyone would plan on any type of trip Disney or anywhere and do basically no research. To each their own I guess.

You should be surprised. on my first trip.. despite my big research. I was still unprepared for what we seen there.
Good thing It was during low crowds. So it was made more reasonable. Now.. going in new years.. that's an odyssey!

Probably varies by the attorneys themselves when picking out jurors. I know on a whole the judicial system has tried to fix what is broken in the jury pools over the last decade and have a better balance of jurors in the pool. Also limiting the amount of professionals that kept getting exempt from serving as the same people were tending to be called over and over. I know Ohio cleaned up their process and the county that I live in cleaned up their act too. I had mine get exempt once when I was in my 9th month of pregnancy as no judge wants to deal with all that in the middle of a trial. I never even made it into the jury pool room before they sent me packing.

I think it was more Ads were appearing when they were not intended to and that was the bug that needed to be worked out in the software, not all bugs in software are viruses, some are glitches and I believe that is what was being expressed. It is my laptop for whatever reason that over a year ago didn't agree with the normal Ads. Eventually I became a premium member to not see any Ads. It solved my problem. I know that is why I'm never the first to upgrade to new systems or upgrade my iPhone's software, I wait until most of the bugs are worked out. My iPhone is asking me to update now-promising to fix the bugs from the last update to the software.

I wonder if it was really a true service animal and not a pet. I've seen so many stories of people faking the whole service thing..so they could get their pet anywhere its usually forbidden.

not all bugs in software are viruses

I never said so. I just said that there are BUGS that can be potentially exploited to insert viruses. This is what happened with many ad software systems in the past.
Some were even managed to deliver java and flash infected payloads via the ads.

A bug is never a virus. a bug is just an unintended behavior or error in the software.
A virus is always self spreading and replicating and could also have damaging payload.

Good news, I will be able to return back home today. But I will have to be careful eating though. My doctor mentioned that my colitis is pretty severe. So they will be giving me some ambosile medicine that can make my stomach less swollen which explains why my appetite has been gone for two weeks.

Oh my, a person who knows my hubby just sent him a message on Facebook. They are planning a trip to WDW this month in 20 days, with 3 kids. They have only booked a flight and an off property hotel, and didn't think they needed tickets until they got there. She also said the were planning on 2 character meals but didn't have any reservations, because they could just do that when they get there. Lucky for her Tusker House and Garden grill still have openings for character meals. They didn't really know anything about fast pass either. I don't understand why people don't do a little research before going on expensive trips. My husband is giving this lady a nice little WDW education tonight.

I don't get it either. I even do some extra research when I go on "cheaper" vacations. My dh's cousins planned a trip to Disney so of course I offered to help make ADRs and such, they said they could handle it. Long story short. They stayed on property, made not one ADR, not one EMH and complained they waited all day every day one line, ate nothing but dry burgers lunch and dinner, couldn't find the big Disney store, thought I was kidding about there actually being a French pastry shop, etc. worst of all they never caught any night time shows. Needless to say they have no plans to ever go back On the other hand I have a friend who when planning a Disney trip invites me down for a weekend of no kids a couple of nice meals and all the wine I can drink That friend is somebody I wish would go way more often

I've not yet had that pleasure. Hopefully I won't for a while yet. I think it would be interesting to be chosen for a jury, but I know that will never happen, being a lawyer's daughter.

Your odds are better for not being chosen but I know a lawyer who got chosen to hear a few cases. I think it depends on what type of case you get called for

Things are going to be very rough at my house for a while We just lost a friend who was very close to all of us and like my big brother or second father since just after I got out of school. He was one of the sweetest people to ever walk this planet and I have no clue how to tell my boys. My older ds will be devastated because when he was little we lived near to each other and he spent a great deal of time at our place. Even though life left us many miles apart we made sure to talk every week.
