That's so nice for you. I made most of my friends in school, and a couple girl friends that lived down the street. We just hit it off and roomed together in college.
I do have a few friends from the neighborhood and since my Church is affliated with the school a lot of my church/youth group friends also go to school with me. I go to a Christian School.

X-Finitity is getting on my nerves. Everything, phones, T.V and computer all down this morning. Our signal breaks us several times a day too. It's funny, when you don't have these things...you realize how much we depend on these things.
how many service providers are in your area?
perhaps you should have 2 cheaper plans on different companies.
I usually have that on internet. one big line and one emergency cheaper connection.

We watched the live stream of my grandfather's funeral. Apparently, you can also buy it on DVD.

My dad gave a speech about what kind of a father he was. He definitely slacked off in the grandfather department, but he was a good father. Involved with his kids even though he divorced their mother.

My mom, I can tell, has had a hard time keeping it together. Although she did have a good laugh after her daughter was being silly on TofT:angelic:

One day they weren't out and I didn't really notice as I was listening to a podcast and I noticed that Kapono was slowing down and was looking off the the side and I realized she was looking for the cows and horses. I thought it was kind of funny. If she got close to them she would probably be scared.

Not necessarily. This reminds me of my prior dog, when we took her to a farm one day. There was a cow near a fence, and my dog was pulling on the leash, because she wanted to go see her. So, we walked over there. What happened next was so cute. She looked up at the cow (who lowered her head down to dog level), and the two of them practically touched noses through the open wire fence. They were instant BFF's! :joyfull:

Yeah, they have Aladdin right now but no discount code and full price is like $150.

Yikes, $150! I'd just stick to the film for that price. When hubby (then just my boyfriend) visited New York, we got second row tickets for Movin' Out for super cheap at the theater's box office. I want to say they were about $40 or less per person. It was a great show. When it came to Minneapolis we went and saw it again and that time took my sister and brother-in-law. They weren't impressed, I don't think they like the fact that there wasn't dialogue that the story was told through Billy Joel's music. Anyway, that was kind of a random story.

This is why hubby won't "bundle" all the services under one company--if the company is experiencing issues, everything you have will go down. We have separate carriers for each function. Costs more than bundling, but he flat out refuses to go with just one service provider.

That is very nice for you and your mother. I'm sure she feels that you are more protected from worldly things going there. I'm glad you have found friends, we need them no matter what age. The people on here, including you are my friends. As well as neighbor's.

Hubby signed up when we were forced into using X finity to get service. We were under a two year contract, and it wasn't up yet. So he signed on for another two year term. I think he's crazy. He doesn't ask me about these things. I watch the pennies and dollars, he goes for the quickest fix. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I'm so glad your mother found some humor in this very trying time. Don't feel bad about him being a slacker . Sometimes, after divorce, people don't have the energy that they had before. I'm sure it has nothing to do with you. You are a nice a caring person. You helped me a lot, when I had much to learn about posting on the blogs.
