We get road rocks out here all the time. We let our windshield go, if it's not imparing the vision. We still pass inspection. If we had to replace our windshield everytime we got a rock, we would be in monthly. That's why we are called the Rockies!![]()

Did it look like this? Are those NASCAR events? I'm not denying, the last time I was an obsessive NASCAR fan it was at local tracks in the late 60's so I'm not familiar.
After I got married I took my new wife to a couple of races. She had never been because she was way more culturally refined then I was. I assured her that I had never, in all the years I had been going, witnessed a serious accident that resulted in injury. The first one I took her to, had an accident where the car ran head first into a solid concrete retaining wall in front of the grandstand and ended up with the engine sitting on the drivers lap. Needless to say, multiple serious injuries in that one.
The second one I had assured her that what she saw was just a fluke. During the race, a car spun upward on a high banked corner and at the same time was hit low broadside. The car took flight off the bank and the force of the broadside hit, flipped it upside down landing and skidding on it's roof about 100 yards. The car that hit it burst into flames and the driver had to get himself out, ran down to the infield and collapsed. The driver of the first car took in about the full 100 yards of top soil being scooped up by the open windshield scraping along the ground. Both were transported to the hospital, both had minor injury's, but, to top it all off, for some unknown reason the truck that had all the fire extinguishing equipment didn't make it to the race like it usually did and we had to watch the car burn itself out before the local firetruck got there. We never went again. Can't say that I really miss it, but, I did enjoy it back in the day.
A little but it was late model cars, not the coupe's. I loved the old cars... we used to call them the ground pounders. Every bone in your body would rattle as they went by.Did it look like this?

Cookies are never my choice of dessert's.I love S'mores. I equally loved the 50s Prime Times and it wasn't a heavy dessert. I'm not a fan of anything knock-off to resemble a S'more including coffee. I tried a couple of the name brand cookies. Bluck.
I love breakfast. I wish Disney would do an all day breakfast somewhere.Oh Mr. Ferret. You read like my DS. Skimming isn't always your friend.

I feel the same way, we leave Disney to have breakfast at Perkins, I love all day breakfast. Easy on the stomach. I'm following my dad's system, sometimes it has to be breakfast or nothing. I get touchy by the end of the day. I think my system is wearing out. His did, and he ate breakfast for years, for breakfast and dinner.NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I do the organizing on Saturday. We get groceries on Monday or Tuesday. It's nice to clear out the stuff with roasted veggies.I guess I better get back to reorganizing my refrigerator. I need to make better use of the space, after all the groceries that I put in there last night. Same for the freezer.
