Wow! I'm impressed. I always travel with my laptop. If I'm at the hospital like with my Dad or places like that I will usually take my tablet.
At Disney I've been known to post up a few photos during the day if they are interesting from my phone. At night unless we are out real late I usually wind down with my laptop now that the resorts have wifi. Still I don't play very much, I tend to fall asleep faster than I do at home.

SIL is the only one who has ever taken a tablet or a laptop (plus his iPhone) to WDW. The rest of us (5) all have iPhones, and always take them.
On the last two trips, a few times (I don't think it was every night, though), I sipped some beers and posted pics while everyone else bedded down for the night. :)

Soooooo... Went to my doctor, doing very good stomach wise.
Not so good of my nail. It seems my new nail is pretty fused to my old one and still doesnt fall. Doc told me to keep pulling it after shower...
and if it doesnt fall, they will have to definitively push it (lots of blood and pain for sure..) D:

Pain? Shouldn't be much, if any (during the procedure, anyway), if they use a local anesthetic, like Lidocaine.
I've had stitches with a Lidocaine local, watched the whole procedure, and never felt a thing... :cyclops:

Hi everyone! Hope all is well with you guys and gals. Have been really busy with work here, so have not been able to post as much as usual, but I hope all my North East pals survived the Snowpocalyple. We got through it (barely), and here are a few quick memories -

Here is Phil, just as the snow begins on Friday night:

What's that thing growing out of the center of his head? And why is he outside without a jacket? (Free answer on that one. I made him, for a photo shoot. He was not happy. But I was.)

This is the next morning, after we plowed the deck. It is worse than it looks, and it continued to snow all day and all night.

So, I just decided to be happy about the snowpocalyplse.

Then the cat decided he'd had enough and wanted to jump out the window.

Fun weekend at Phil's, but now back to my crappy one room apartment in NYC, and this is what I came home to find.

And this. Arghhh.

Oh well. We made it through the storm alive, so who can complain?

Happy January, everyone!!

@donaldtoo , I recall (years ago) when my mother had a gout attack (in her foot). It was extremely painful. I was just a young kid at the time, but I vaguely recall that she got over it in about a week. I'm hoping that if your diagnosis is indeed gout, then maybe you're almost half way to full recovery now. Fingers crossed! :)

Thanks, Minnie! :)

I've actually had several (again, I've yet to be officially diagnosed, but the symptoms are exactly the same) of these attacks over the last two decades, just never this crazy, and never lingering this long.
It has always just been in the big toe and ball of only one of my feet at a time, and yes, always seemed resolved in a week or less.

Incidentally, gout is abundantly more prevalent in men. Lucky mom...! ;)
