When I was a kid the catholic churches never had that happening. That is something we saw Episcopalians do and the wine drinkers in the crowd thought that was a cool idea. After all the alcohol in the Wine would kill the germs, right? Once they did adopt that procedure it was always at your choice though, it wasn't a requirement.

Wine was never an option when I was a kid either. The priest and sometimes his servers drank the wine. I remember being curious as to why? Even then I didn't want to and wasn't a fan of that host being put in my mouth either.

Unless it's a Sherman Tank there isn't a rolling vehicle ever made that is good on ice. Sadly many people think that if they throw the thing in 4 wheel drive they are set for anything. Ice thinks differently.

I am a very cautious driver. Even with 4x4 I drive slowly and carefully. Plus 4x4 is a nice bonus to keep the truck going straight though the snow without sliding or getting stuck. Stopping, not so much, it will tend to keep you going straight but you still need the same stopping distance you would without 4x4. So it is pretty stupid to drive fast.

Even that was an option after awhile. Not when I was young though. That bothered me too and I am the furthest thing away from being a germaphobe that is possible.

Absolutely, 4 wheel drive is a great help in snow if driven with common sense, however, ice has it's own rules and it bows to no one. I, for one, was happy when most vehicles started using front wheel drive for the same reasons. There was a slight difference with 4 wheel drive, but, done right front wheel drive will get you everywhere as well. Once you get caught on ice you have absolutely no control, there is nothing you can do to make it better. It is in charge.

Lisa's tea house of terror. They are mostly sandwiches I think.. and all prepacked.
To be honest, when I was there, nothing looked tasty.

I really like the Blvd there. I like they have indoor and outdoor and everyone can pick which hut they want to eat from. A much better offering than Disney Studio's Sunset Blvd. I hate eating fast food at the Studios. Normally go into the bakery and get a sandwich or leave the park.

Still one of my more favorite and tasty QS foods is from Min & Bill's Dock, the Smoked Sausage on a Pretzel Roll is pretty yummy. If there was ample seating I'd do that more often. One of my biggest beefs with the Studio's. When it is hot out I really like to eat indoors in A/C and away from the birds begging. I am sad they didn't add an indoor option for Flame at AK too. Love their food.

One dude got angry at the last major snowfall with all the people who did not shovel in front of the businesses and high rise condo's and turned to ice. Over days he drove home the point, carving out ice blocks and hauling them to the center median and made an igloo. I'm am surprised the police let him and public works let it stand there for days. Will be interesting with all the bad PR if they will shovel now.

Yeah our first car, the TownCar had front wheel and it handled pretty well. 4x4 helps a lot when the plows forget to come out or the snow is real deep.

I loved that show, I always thought of Walt as my special grandpa. My grandpa lived far away, so I made him part of the family.

By the time I had a clue who the man was, Walt Disney, he was gone. Can't say I even remember him passing as a small child. Somethings stick others don't. And I visited Disneyland since I was one and watched the show on Sunday nights, never made the connection as a young'n.

We did that last time, too, and we have backpacks and ponchos and all that stuff for this time, too. I was asking @figmentfan423 mostly because she said her boys eat whatever was in sight, and I thought perhaps they might not get enough at meals in the parks and she might have to supplement the meals with snacks to keep the costs manageable! We'll bring in snacks so if nothing else, DS won't starve. I don't worry about DD as she'll find something no matter where we are. But DS doesn't even like most of the things on the kids menus...he won't eat mac and cheese or burgers and pizza is touch and go. He's never had corn dogs before, but I don't know if he'll even taste them. Not every place has chicken nuggets, which is the only thing I know he will eat. So we'll have to bring snacks just in case.

Yep, our kiddos have never been real picky eaters, so they ate their meals. We brought in the snacks 'cause, inevitably, between both DDs and DS, 1, 2, or all 3 would be hungry between meals. We all burn lots of energy in the Parks. ;) :)

We did the Brown Derby lounge in November and that was some really good food for the Studios. The sliders were fantastic and we should have gotten our own and not shared them. We also got the charcuterie too. Sorry the pictures are a little dark.
