Speaking of movies...??? I went with my grandson today to see "The Force Awakens". Did the Imax 3D show. In a theater that could seat 200 people, there were 10 of us there. It was, of course, a very cold Tuesday at 12:30pm and the cost of two tickets was $32.00 so that might have kept the numbers down.

Oh, yea... the movie! I thought it was great. As I stated I had never seen a Star Wars movie before. I had seen enough clips and parts of the originals to have the just of the story line, but, never actually saw the whole thing. I thought that the inclusion of Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher all neatly tied up in a finding Nemo (Luke) package was a nice touch. I was surprised at how much Harrison Ford was involved in the movie, but, what a good move. The humor was still there. Carrie's part was also a pleasant surprise albeit short, I felt it was very well acted and touching. Didn't care a lot for the ending, but, I can easily see how it will extend into the next edition. Sort of like how the ending credits of Pirates of the Caribbean set the stage for the next one. If not worth $32.00**, it certainly is worth seeing.
The surround sound, large screen and 3D really made it more lifelike and realistic though.

We have deer, racoon, birds all sorts of wild life that die around here that sadly die because of all sorts of weather and food conditions. Likely animals have died from the beginning of time. But all studies are demonstrating the Polar Bears are increasing in population.

Dr Crockford, of the University of Victoria in British Columbia added: “Polar bears are still a conservation success story. With a global population almost certainly greater than 25,000, we can say for sure that there are more polar bears now than 40 years ago.

Numbers are difficult for Climate peeps or debunkers to totally. So neither side do I put stock in exact numbers. They just are very difficult to track out there for exact numbers

I think we will have to leave this one unsettled, You can be our Climate Change endorser and I will be the non believer. :D All is good.

3 declining, 1 increasing 6 stable.. 9 with not enough data.
the part where it says "Although most of the world's 19 populations have returned to healthy numbers, there are differences between them. Some are stable, some seem to be increasing, and some are decreasing due to various pressures." is encouraging.

Please note that this is probably because of the banning of the hunting. We do not know if it offsets the climate issues.

now, these things aren't as scary as the stories of millions of birds and fish dying in mass in single events.. D:
