I have the best hubby in the whole world. He picked me up from work last night and when I got home, I noticed something weird under my sheet on the bed so I lifted it up to see what it was and Hubby had gone and gotten one of the heated mattress pads and put it on the bed and turned it on for me so it would be nice and warm! So sweet! He didn't even plug his side in...,it's still wrapped up in the twist tie. I know he'll use it eventually...I think what really decided him was that he was sick last week with an ear infection and had a fever and was FREEZING despite adding an extra comforter to the bed. That and my noisy blowdryer next to his ear while he's trying to watch tv shows on the computer and I'm using the blow dryer to get warm. So yay!!!
I have a sick kiddo home for the last 2 days from school. Poor DS is coughing and yesterday he said his throat hurt. I went to the drug store to get him something, and I asked them (they have to have some training) what an 8 year old could take for a cough/sore throat and she directed me straight to the stuff, so I bought it, only to get home and find out it's not for use until at least 18 years. Given that he was with me and could in NO way be mistaken for an 18 year old, she seriously needs more training. So I had to go get my money back and they didn't even apologize. I don't know why kids can't have it, but there must be a reason and that is SO dangerous to be recommending meds when you don't know the restrictions. I wouldn't have even asked had I known that she didn't know any more than I do. Thank GOD I read the info before I gave it to him!! But he's not coughing as much today and he says his throat doesn't hurt anymore, but his stomach hurts when he coughs. I have him parked at DH's computer to distract him from the ouchies.

THNX you should have no problem getting your ADRs at all. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our first park day is the first and out last will be the 14th. Monday the 1st we'll dl AK morning and then hop to EPCOT, 2nd MK daytime and night EMH in EPCOT, 3rd EPCOT daytime and night MK EMH, 4th sleep in and a Water park and minigolf, 5th EPCOT and AK later in the day. BTW AKs hours will be greatly increased if ROL is open which it should be by then as opening date is spring.
Yeah, I was looking at the park hours and was really surprised that it only has AK open till 5 every day because I had understood that ROL was supposed to be open then and that they would be open later. I guess they will change that when ROL actually opens then? And I thought HS was open later, too...it's only listed till 7:30. Good thing we have the ultimate tickets that include park hopping. We can hop over to another park when HS closes! I'll have to look at my schedule...I'm pretty sure I have Aug. 3rd as a MK day with BOG. I don't have anything planned on the 4th as that's a checkout day and I don't know how much time that takes or anything. We'll have to at least move our stuff to our friend's house that day, and I have it penciled in as a tentative HS day IF we need a 2nd HS day, but since everyone keeps saying it's a one day park and they are removing so much, I don't know that we'll NEED another HS day, in which case we might just hang out or go to DS, or go resort hopping, or I might beg to just go sit in the American pavilion at Epcot and listen to the Liberty singers as many times as they perform that day.

Most if not all hours will be increased by then. When they post hours this far out it's the minimum amount of hours the parks will be open. Last trip every park but EPCOT increased by a few hours a day and a second Fantasmic was added.

Well, she must be through training or she wouldn't be working in the store yet. She's definitely new though as I didn't recognize her and I'm in there a couple of times a week. That's where I buy shampoo, soap, deodorant, etc, and vitamins for the kids and such. And whenever you buy over the counter meds, they always ask you if you have any questions about its use, bla bla bla. And one of hubby's cousins worked at a similar drugstore and had to have training in the over the counter section. So they have to be able to advise you...but I figured she must know since she didn't look for an age...I thought it must be ok for anyone to take. I hope they said something to her after I came back....it had only been 5 minutes, so I'm sure she was still there and the other gal knew she was the one who had helped me. But not everyone reads those folders inside the package before they use the meds, and if she directs someone else to those and they don't read it, who knows what will happen.

WTH! I hope they said something! I'm lucky my youngest is now big enough to take the adult dose of most things

Disney has changed up their recipe at PrimeTime from their meatloaf and while still yummy the meat isn't as course, a bit too processed now and they don't have the glaze anymore, so I make it the way it was originally done with course ground meat and ketchup glaze. Now they squirt just ketchup on top.

Try this:
Glaze Sauce Ingredients:

1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
finely chopped sauted onion and tiny diced tomato
The glaze is the way to go. To me just squirting ketchup on it makes it more like eating hamburger than meatloaf!

I checked our schedule and I have Aug. 1st as an Epcot day, Biergarten lunch and Via Napoli pizza for dinner. Aug. 2nd is an AK with the quick service Yak and Yeti for lunch and Sanaa for dinner. Aug. 3 is MK with BOG lunch. Aug 4th we'll play it by ear and then the rest of the days we're not staying on property so we don't have the dining plan and we'll be eating off property unless it's quick service and I don't know if or when we'll be in the parks on those days. Part of it depends on my friend's health and how she's doing with her service dog.
I'm so jealous...I want to eat at 9 dragons, but there is absolutely nothing on the menu that DS will eat, so that's out. I also wanted to eat at San Angel Inn, but had to scrap it for the same reason. But in 10 years, when we go just hubby and I for our anniversary, we're hitting the ones we didn't get to do this time!!
