Good luck with the doctor. A year ago, I was putting clothes in DD's closet when I turned around and stepped on a piece of paper left on her floor and my foot slid into her nightstand, almost ripping the nail off my pinky toe. I nearly passed out from the pain. I called the doctor to ask about having it removed because it was only hanging on by one side of the nail bed, but they said they don't remove the nail because then the wound is open and infection can get in, and that I should just cover it with a bandaid to hold the nail in place. I did that for several weeks and then one day it came off with the bandaid by itself and I didn't even notice it had come off. Completely painless.
that is no issue for me, since all my nail skin is already dry and closed.
So remove the older nail, wait for the new one to grow.. and there you go!

Here's a snowman laugh. When my daughter was three we made a snowman. On one of her dad's visitation days he thought it would be funny to make it an anatomically correct "happy" snowman. ;) I realized it the next morning and sneaked outside to make him "unhappy" while she was watching tv. Buuut she was watched me through the window. For days she told everyone I knocked the snowman's arm off. :joyfull:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I appreciate all the support from everyone on here! The fun just keeps comin' over here, though. Today he said we need to figure out a custody schedule for our pets (we have 2 dogs, 5 cats), as he will want to see the 3 cats that I planned to keep and he assumed I would want to see the other animals as well. My response was this could be done after an agreement regarding child custody is reached. He said since he's moving now it needs to be decided now or in court. I said my only concern right now is our daughter and if he wanted to include the animals in the court decision to talk to his lawyer. His response to that? "Great. You do not care about the animals. So I will be taking all the animals with me then." It just went downhill from there.

So, yes, we will need a virtual party, or hopefully someday we'll all end up at WDW together and can have a belated celebration in person. But if I am there in June @ajrwdwgirl, I will take you up on that drink!!! :joyfull:
By hook or by crook, I'll find a way to join you two in June!

After two or three months of work (following a 20 month layoff), I'll be ready!
