Fortunately (and the usual knock on my wood head ), I have never needed prescription glasses.
But, beginning in my early 40's, I did hafta' start purchasing cheaters for up close vision.

DD was 6 for me. Although I put out three outfits and she got to pick. Second grade she knew what went together!

Good morning. My street still stinks so my dh will have to go to work the long way. His commute last night was almost doubled due to the idiot who thought salt on snow was a good idea. BTW Salt on snow is a bad, very bad idea!

Okay, is anyone else having trouble on this sight? I've been frozen up twice this morning! I have to shut down the computer and reboot. It's getting annoying. Same thing happened yesterday!

Sort of like jello but not quite Getting one was considered a reward I remember going out for a "fancy" meal with my grandparents for my birthday, the place was beautiful and all the great food except for the whole fish with the head still on and I got one for my birthday, I was offered both. I swear I was really good that year!

Here's a snowman laugh. When my daughter was three we made a snowman. On one of her dad's visitation days he thought it would be funny to make it an anatomically correct "happy" snowman. I realized it the next morning and sneaked outside to make him "unhappy" while she was watching tv. Buuut she was watched me through the window. For days she told everyone I knocked the snowman's arm off.

I will be so upset when Patrick Stewart and Morgan Freeman die. Two of my absolute favorites. But I love a lot of the others you list, too.
