That's a great idea!Snow should be like bubbles, it disappears once you touch it.

Cinderella
Best Costume Design
Inside Out
Best Animated Feature Film, Best Original Screenplay
How the heck did some of those movies I never heard of or didn't do well at the box office get picked as Best Feature Film over SWTFA?![]()
My experience too, living on a farm my parents only killed what we would eat. I did "waste" one piece, as Mom would put it on my plate and I refused to eat it!Cool about your shooting!
I completely understand about the animals, but, things were a bit different for me...
As many of you know, both parents were raised on farms, and hunting was involved to supplement the diet. They ate everything they shot.
I haven't hunted in some time, but, I was a darn good shot (stationary, or flying target). Again, we ate everything we shot.
It was always funny how my relatives couldn't believe what a great shot this "City boy" was.
One example, was when dove season came, we would all kinda' spread out in small groups, or on our own, but, still tried to keep track of each other for obvious reasons. I would have a bag full from the day. Come late afternoon/early evenin', the dove would be headin' back from feedin' to roost for the night. They used to particularly fly a path over one of 2 stock tanks on the property. I would be set up behind the tank dam and was signaled from someone in the tree cover when a few were headed towards us. It takes a lot, of even fat dove, to make a main course.
Even though every now and then you'd run across a piece of #8 bird shot in a bite, darn, they were good eatin' the way grandma prepared them.

Yes, it's such a cute course. I love the Fairways too! I'm not good at playing it, but I love it anyway!Winter Summer? Cause I think the fairways one is going down for a refurb.
Thanks for my laugh of the day!
No me but they were having some problems.Okay, is anyone else having trouble on this sight? I've been frozen up twice this morning! I have to shut down the computer and reboot. It's getting annoying. Same thing happened yesterday!
I used two bandaids on my boo boo until it had pretty well healed. Hubby had to get more Bandaids, ha!My bandage fell off while I was out today. I stuck my hand in my coat pocket and the cut got stuck on the zipper. Slusher Gusher again. I had a Sponge Bob bandage in the Glove Compartment. (Wonder how long he was in there?) He is sticking real good so I'm not taking it off until morning.
Me three group trip!Me too. I had that money spent!![]()
I couldn't see some of the images either. So much for the premium membership! No me but they were having some problems.

At least you know it wasn't your computer skills!I couldn't see some of the images either. So much for the premium membership!

When someone close to you dies, and then there is no infighting it makes their passing peaceful, even if difficult for survivors.Wow....12. Yikes. My mom was only one of 3. Her two older brothers were 10 and 13 years older than her..she was kind of a surprise. And her father died when she was 2, so her brothers kind of filled that role a bit for her, as well as her uncles. But in those days, the man was supposed to be the bread winner, so without a man in the house, they didn't have much either. I suspect my mother learned how to be frugal from HER mother. But she saw when my dad's dad passed away that siblings tend to get nasty with each other over the things they want....my father and his brother and sister fought like cats and dogs over things they didn't even want, just to keep the others from having it. Mom didn't want that with my brother and I...so we had to play nice or we got nothing. My brother wanted all the valuable things and I wanted all the sentimental things, and then there were a few things my mom had specifically said she wanted me to have, or my brother to have, so there was not much that we disagreed on.
I never drove at night, I can't see at all. Eye Doctor warned me not to night drive, and I never did. In winter I would take a bus to work and back.Yep, my ex had a couple of surgeries to correct it as a child, too....I think the last one was when he was 4? But his was so severe they couldn't correct it all the way. I wish he would have recognized that it affected his driving so much. He really thought he was an excellent driver, but none of my friends would set foot in a car with him. He was quite a hazard, too...he was ok as far as staying in his lane most of the time, but he missed signs on the side of the road, so he'd miss stop signs, one way signs, etc...and because his depth perception was off, his turning left scared me to death. He'd say there was plenty of room when in reality, we'd miss a car by inches and the other car would have slowed down considerably just to even miss hitting us. I honestly do not know how he had a regular license. He should have at least not been allowed to drive at night.
Ditto, here!My dad brought me to his lawyer to have him tell me that girls didn't belong in college and that they only went to college to find a husband and even if by some miracle they graduated from said college, the degree wasn't worth anything because we are women and women are only fit to be teachers, nurses, or secretaries and only until we find a husband to provide for us. It's a waste of money to send a woman to college.
We are down to 17! Getting really excited now!Thank you for the reminder to check how many days I have! I'm 193 out, so I can't make my ADRs yet....I should set a reminder on my phone.
Sympathy, stay in and stay warm. Sounds like a good jammie day to me!THNX My dh made it to work he took the long way without any hills. He said don't go out unless I have to. A few friends and I were supposed to go to the mall today and one of them got the same call I did. They only live a few blocks over and her dh works where mine does. No mall for us today. I hate winter. Only 20 days until groundhog season!
