Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
@Gabe1 , you'll appreciate this. Despite the hoops that Walt has made you jump through over the past few days, at least he has normal dog behavior. As you know, Jack's behavior often keeps us guessing.

Every night, he comes upstairs and hangs out with me in the room, until I go off to sleep. However, last night, he left the room before 9; and around 9:15, I was curious to see what he was up to, and went downstairs to look for him. And there he was . . . in the livingroom . . . watching the State of the Union address on tv . . .

Oh My! Jack is an Obama Groupie! Bless his little heart shoring up the ratings. Me, I watched netflix's :cyclops:

I have pretty long experience on the internet, but it never ceases to amaze me how much awful and cringeworthy stuff is around... a mere click away.

The first thing my DD did when she was launching this laptop for me was to take a piece of painters tape and put it over the camera. She explained and I was so creeped out.

: O
'Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around

I will really miss meeting up with you guys but by going in August we can almost double the duration of our trip. My dh refuses to even be near there over 4th of July

On our first family trip in July of '01, we flew into MCO on the night of the 4th. Our first Park day wasn't until the 6th, so the crowds weren't too bad.
Anyway, flying from Austin, you fly out over the Gulf of Mexico. It was already late evening when we started our descent and approached Florida's west coast. Fireworks were goin' off everywhere around us as we descended further. The approach was close enough (and at the right time) to WDW that we got to see some of their fireworks too. It was very cool...! :)

What exactly is "the bubble"? Just Disney as a whole or only specific parts of Disney? I told hubby last night that if we ever won millions in the lottery, I'd want to travel..I'd want to see lots of old castles, and ruins, stone circles, all the places on my travel bucket list. And I'd want to stay for an extended period of time Disney at some of the Deluxe resorts. I'd want to stay at Boardwalk, I'd want to stay at Polynesian, and probably Grand Floridian, certainly Beach club....just spend a week at each one. And if we were rich, I could justify making a week long trip during break. Can't do that now....it's so expensive to fly that if we're going to make a trip, it needs to be a 3 week trip, which means it HAS to be peak travel season. But I'd like to go sometime in late September/early October and do the food &Wine festival. So that's what I'd do if I won big bucks. I'm already planning a trip for hubby and I in 10 years for our 25th anniversary at the end of September. Doubt we'll be able to stay in a deluxe unless we do win the lottery, but I'd still like to go, and since we did our honeymoon at Disney, it would be rather like a 2nd honeymoon.

We spent our honeymoon and 20th wedding anniversary at WDW. :)
Based on DWifey's employment situation at the time, we just couldn't swing it for our 25th.
But, we're definitely planning on it for our 30th in Dec. of '18...! :)

No winner here either. I'm assuming we didn't win anything worthwhile in our work pool either since I haven't heard anything from my co-workers (I could look at the numbers but I left the photocopy of it on my desk at work). But I guess there wasn't a winner for the jackpot. So that jackpot is going to be huge on Wednesday. I just have to figure out how much $$ I want to lose on trying to win.

Hahaaa...!!! :hilarious:
I bought one of 18 in our office pool, and 5 quick picks on the way home from the office tonight, for a total of $12...! ;) :)
