@Gabe1 , you'll appreciate this. Despite the hoops that Walt has made you jump through over the past few days, at least he has normal dog behavior. As you know, Jack's behavior often keeps us guessing.

Every night, he comes upstairs and hangs out with me in the room, until I go off to sleep. However, last night, he left the room before 9; and around 9:15, I was curious to see what he was up to, and went downstairs to look for him. And there he was . . . in the livingroom . . . watching the State of the Union address on tv . . .

I hear that they plan on releasing them in morning. Prayers. Tense.

I listen to WGN radio most of the day. I start out with the Morning News on WGN TV. It is a very light version of the news. They toss in a lot of human interest, funny things along with restaurant and food reviews. A bit of everything. At the hours and half hours the major real news is recapped. On from 4am to 10 am but I'm usually done by 8-830. 900 to 10 is very light subjects.

CDT 9-10 very light show, it is streamed here, you should give it a shot online,

We must have some crazy force field around our house, we can't get anything on the radio, but static, it's been that way for years.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope it works out!
Thanks we are back to normal. We had to go all over the house and outside to find the tripped breaker. As hubby said, all are hot. It did take a while for the breaker that tripped to reset itself. Yea! How is your day going? I spent most of the morning calling down to hubby what was working and what wasn't.;)

Cold way too cold. I'm one step from running away from home.

Thanks, Bets! :)
But, actually, the heart condition hasn't kept me from any of my life dreams, except maybe the private pilot license one. I wasn't even diagnosed with it until my early 30's. When I was young, I thought about becoming an airline pilot, but, eventually realized if I wanted to get married and have a family, I didn't want to be away from them that much. As I mentioned before, I've been cleared by the docs to do anything anyone else can do, even thrill rides that a lot of other perfectly healthy people won't do, that I will, and love, and have no problems.
But, with the condition I have, although I haven't had an event in about 8 years, all it would take was one out of nowhere while I was piloting a plane, with just myself on board (in which case I could lose consciousness and take out myself and others on the ground) or with others on board and no other qualified pilot in the plane, which would be even way worse.
Maybe there is some provision that if you have another qualified, completely health-cleared pilot aboard, just in case, it would be possible. I don't know. Something tells me not.

Yikes. The more I think about it, no matter how much time or money I have, it is probably a dream I should, unfortunately, let go of.
Life has a way of bringing us back down to reality. :( Then something good comes along, and it's :joyfull:!
