I went in with a couple co-workers for this Powerball. Wish us luck! If we win, we'll ALL be in the bubble! :D
What exactly is "the bubble"? Just Disney as a whole or only specific parts of Disney? I told hubby last night that if we ever won millions in the lottery, I'd want to travel..I'd want to see lots of old castles, and ruins, stone circles, all the places on my travel bucket list. And I'd want to stay for an extended period of time Disney at some of the Deluxe resorts. I'd want to stay at Boardwalk, I'd want to stay at Polynesian, and probably Grand Floridian, certainly Beach club....just spend a week at each one. And if we were rich, I could justify making a week long trip during break. Can't do that now....it's so expensive to fly that if we're going to make a trip, it needs to be a 3 week trip, which means it HAS to be peak travel season. But I'd like to go sometime in late September/early October and do the food &Wine festival. So that's what I'd do if I won big bucks. I'm already planning a trip for hubby and I in 10 years for our 25th anniversary at the end of September. Doubt we'll be able to stay in a deluxe unless we do win the lottery, but I'd still like to go, and since we did our honeymoon at Disney, it would be rather like a 2nd honeymoon.

The bubble is Disney property all of it.

But in California, anything property obtained after the date of separation is considered separate property, not community. He can try, but he won't succeed! At least that's my understanding.
But what's the definition of "Separated"? Is it the day you decided to divorce? Is it the date the papers are filed? Is it the day he moved out? Do you have to file for separation? If you won, and he suddenly said "I want to get back together, we were never separated!" or lies about the date...I mean, the chance of winning is almost nil anyway, so it's kind of a moot point, but there are probably loopholes galore.

Are July's hours up yet?
July's are, yes, but not Augusts. I've already got a schedule made. I used touringplans.com crowd calendar and picked the best days to visit each park, with one exception because Epcot had several days at a 6 and Animal kingdom only had one day at a 6 and Epcot was a 5 that day, so I picked AK for that day...the rest of the time they are at 8s and 9s. And we're not planning on doing EMH in the mornings because when we discussed vacation with the kids and what they want, DD and DH both said they don't want to have to get up early every day...they want down time, too, and with 14 day tickets, we can afford to go at a slower pace and we can get fast passes for more things in the 10 day window of our resort stay. So I am not overly worried about EMH, though I did make sure one of our MK days is NOT on a day with morning EMH so that we can get an early ADR to Crystal palace before the park opens.

Where did you find July's hours?

I seem to be going up, up, up. I hope at some point I could go down, down, down. Doctor is not going to be pleased.

I'm like a rollercoaster too. Though I think I actually lose weight at Disney even though I'm eating like a pig. I do a little jogging at Disney so that might have something to do with it. I'm at Bay Lake Tower (love Contemporary) which is very odd for me because I hate modern architecture. Best architectures is in Europe. And it's very hard to find a running path unless you run to the MK and back and risk your life crossing the road.

Good morning all! I hope you're all having a great weekend. House arrest is over and I'm going shopping today.

I went yesterday. 70% off Christmas Ornaments at the popup Ornament store in the mall. I got a London one (obviously) and a Navy one for my coworker whose husband's in the Navy.

Want to go to the Container Store today but I won't. Supposed to be monsooning later. Went to the gym already though.

No winner here. :(

No winner here either. I'm assuming we didn't win anything worthwhile in our work pool either since I haven't heard anything from my co-workers (I could look at the numbers but I left the photocopy of it on my desk at work). But I guess there wasn't a winner for the jackpot. So that jackpot is going to be huge on Wednesday. I just have to figure out how much $$ I want to lose on trying to win.

I was too hungry to fall asleep. So I just went down to the Kitchen and sawed off a hunk of bakery rye bread, smeared it with butter and nuked it in the micro. Slurp. Sometimes bread makes me so happy. :hungry:

When we were in Disneyland I bought one of the Boudin Bakery loaves (actually shaped like a Christmas tree). I have it in the freezer but I keep thinking about how good it would be. I have a feeling it won't be in my freezer very long.

the question is.. who in their right mind would leave a LOADED GUN on the kid's reach?
worse.. how the parents didnt noticed the kid had a gun on his/her bag?

In the case of what happened at my school, the kids parents are basically never home. He has access to the whole house and isn't a dumb kid, and a 13-14yr old kid, so he could find what he wanted and since no one is home to watch he has the time to do it. Plus in our area hunting is very common and people have a lot of guns. The gun this kid brought to school wasn't a hunting rifle but a pistol instead and easy to conceal. You'd be surprised how clueless some people are with guns and other items that are a danger to children.
