Good morning! How's your eye doing?

Mornin'. It's been almost 4 weeks now and it is, at this point, better then it was before the surgery, but not by as much as I hoped it would be. But, why complain, I do have vision and that is, I found out, very important. I was hoping to not need glasses after this, but, it isn't looking like that is going to happen, however, I am grateful for what I do have. I noticed something that I had never thought about before. The eye with the new lens seems brighter, if not clearer, and it dawned on me that another of the wonderful things about aging is that your original lens yellows over time. Now I want to get the other one done because that alone has improved my night vision by noticeable amounts.

I haven't tried it out yet. Hubby found some recipes from kitchen aid. I didn't realize how many different things you can make using this appliance. Mine is only a 7 cup, can you cut the ingredients in half?

I've got one that I hardly ever use. It works great but the clean up most of the time is not worth it. What I have used it the most for is on the rare occasion when I make banana bread. Dump all the ingredients in the top, put on the cover and fire the old girl up. Works really slick and, for that, there is not much difference in the clean up if using the conventional way. Makes a real smooth batter and fluffs it up a bit as well.

If I had a medium supply of Minions to do the dishes I would probably use it more often.

Our carolling is not a performance. It's just for fun.

Yea, for the most part, but, I have a galley type kitchen and have no room for a free standing processor, so I have to store it between uses and if the dishwasher is already full, the odd shaped parts of the processor are hard to place in it and take up a lot of room. Not a big deal, just more then I usually have the energy to mess with and I hate to run the dishwasher for just that.
