I was sitting in a Doc's room waiting on my appointment, he was 1 1/2 hours late. They kept thanking me for being patient. :cautious: Then the Doc was crabby, had no interest in listening as he was irritated by hearing anything but his own voice.

I so wish you could withhold payment of the bill, or dump your present doctor, and select another doctor who will listen to you. As a consumer, you did not get your money's worth at all.

Love that the list of ThanksGiving Day retail closings for Thursday is growing. I enjoyed Nordstroms statement.

I think you might have misinterpreted their sign. They have a policy of not decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. From everything I've heard, they will be open when all the other stores open, for the start of the big Christmas shopping season. I read something about all this on Snopes today.

So this is different from what REI is doing; they're actually closing to give their employees a full Thanksgiving holiday, and then they're also not open on Black Friday either (not even online). They're good to their employees.

We are leaving tomorrow morning. We are actually spending the night in Minneapolis tonight so we don't have to wake up and drive super early since our flight leaves at 7am.

This is so exciting!!!! I'm thrilled for the both of you; you both really know how to have a great time! Can't wait to hear the highlights of your trip, and maybe a few photos, if you have time. I've always loved your pictures from WDW and around the world, too!! You guys are amazing! :joyfull:

Thanks! I will try to post some pictures while we are there. And I will definitely post more when we get back.

I use to like Pizza Hut and their new crust, new years and years ago, was way too greasy for me. I liked their original and it makes me wonder if in Mexico if they stuck with the original recipe and prep.
I think the greasy part was because of the process.

I remember seeing the Pizza Hut employees, spraying the dough a lot with oil spray before setting the ingredients and into the oven.
So we probably are getting the old crust.

  And furthermore, the irony is that people that actually want to serve, NEVER get called!!! :jawdrop:
Reminds me of the complains of both Bill Nye and Neil deGrasse Tyson.
Where both were always kicked out of jury duty for "questioning the evidence and using logic" too much.
It was deemed "wrong" by both the lawyer and the prosecutor.

I quote Neil Tyson's

“In 2002, having spent more than three years in one residence for the first time in my life, I got called for jury duty. I show up on time, ready to serve. When we get to the voir dire, the lawyer says to me, “I see you’re an astrophysicist. What’s that?” I answer, “Astrophysics is the laws of physics, applied to the universe—the Big Bang, black holes, that sort of thing.” Then he asks, “What do you teach at Princeton?” and I say, “I teach a class on the evaluation of evidence and the relative unreliability of eyewitness testimony.” Five minutes later, I’m on the street.

A few years later, jury duty again. The judge states that the defendant is charged with possession of 1,700 milligrams of cocaine. It was found on his body, he was arrested, and he is now on trial. This time, after the Q&A is over, the judge asks us whether there are any questions we’d like to ask the court, and I say, “Yes, Your Honor. Why did you say he was in possession of 1,700 milligrams of cocaine? That equals 1.7 grams. The ‘thousand’ cancels with the ‘milli-’ and you get 1.7 grams, which is less than the weight of a dime.” Again I’m out on the street.”

That was a great story. Gave me a chuckle.

My Sis was surprised to actually be seated on a jury being an attorney herself. Pretty much as the trial got going she well knew this was a waste of time, it was obvious to her it was out of whack but not her place during the trial as a juror to speak out of turn. 3 days later they went into deliberation and a note was sent to the judge clarifying. After they sat in the room waiting for a response for a while they were brought back and the question was answered. Mistrial. The jurors dismissed.

Disney should get over themselves, they've had good things and really bad things....Think imagination...last version:(

It really wasn't a big surprise to me actually, and the explanation was sufficient enough, but, I was under the influence of pixie dust. ;) Plus, I've thought about if maybe Schlitterbahn here in Texas might be receptive.
I remember when my pop worked for IBM back in the day, when you signed on, if you so much as invented a knew kind of paper clip the IP was theirs.
