So glad to hear he made it!
Does he have any physical/cognitive issues.
Physically, DS is fine. He can read like a maniac, but, has serious problems with writing and math.
He also struggles with situations regarding time and space.
As a parent, it's so hard to see him struggle, but, we just keep swimming...! :)
I so understand this. I had trouble coping with emotional situations, brother died early. I went to get help, my Doctor said I had trouble due to being so premature for the time. My brain didn't develop completely for situational experiences. So, I try to stay away from stress issues. Disney is fun, but only in small amounts of time. I've learned to cope, by limiting the time in a stressful situation. I just wish Disney, would limit the number of people in the parks. I'm thinking this year will be an hour in the parks and out. I've learned that I need much more time to chill out. It's good, because Disney has great places to do that away from the parks and rides.:happy::happy:

I'm not a religious person, but I'd say amen to that! Although I'd prefer tequila to whiskey. :p

I remember seeing an interview with the actor Keenan Wynn years ago talking about his tinnitus. Didn't seem fun, at all. So sorry you are going through that.
There are many times I have ringing in my ears, and I always wonder if it will get worse. I can't figure out what might cause it. It just seems to happen out of nowhere.
So far, so good. It hasn't gotten worse.
I've noticed the fan in our room at night helps me not to notice it so much, when it happens. :)
I've had this for a long time, I keep on a TV or radio to drown out the noise, and I go to bed with the TV on. Hubby is so sweet to turn off the TV sometime in the middle of the night. He can sleep through anything, thank god! It works out for both of us!

From what I understand, they are turning it into two restaurants under one roof, so to speak. There will be a new TS restaurant (they're expanding in the back, I think) and they will also keep Pizzafari for QS, but it will be a much smaller QS seating area. :(

Oh, here's a link to the thread about this in N&R.

So sad to hear less QS. I hate making reservations. DD does it , but for breakfast only....we never know it anyone will be up for a table service for lunch or evening.

WOW! Beautiful painting, Bets...!!! :joyfull:
I remember you talking about art being your favorite subject! You have a keen eye...! :)
Thank you, I may post hubby's favorite paintings I did for his office, in the future. My soul comes out in my paintings. So many of my paintings have been sold.... but I hope they bring other's the joy I had in making them. I no longer paint, as my eye issues have interfered with that. It was so fun at the time. Life moves on and I found that spending time on here so rewarding. You are all so great and encouraging!:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:

I have never heard of Peggle? Does it have anything to do with cribbage?
No, it's a game that older people seem to like. I love that you can progress over time, and you don't lose....you get to play the game until you get it right. It's nothing like the older games that made you start from the beginning every time you messed up. You make progress over time. Keeps you interested in the game. Hubby and I loved it so much , we bought Peggle Nights, I've done a little playing on there, but I want to complete Peggle first.

I have been fighting this darn cold for over a week but then this afternoon, I just fell asleep without much warning and slept for like 4 hours and am finally starting to feel a lot better. I had tried to rest all week but had trouble sleeping because I can't sleep very well when I'm all stuffed up. The body knows what it needs!
Sorry you have been sick. Glad you are starting to feel better. I think all this up and down with temps. cause our bodies to not know what to do.

There's no child abuse at all in Inside Out. It is a realistic look at how a child feels when things in her life begin to change. I thought it was fabulous. I think we send the message to kids all the time that they have to happy and that any other feelings are bad. So they never learn how to deal with their emotions in a healthy way and become broken adults who just bury things. And it's not a depressing movie. I laughed more than I cried...but I did cry.
Thank you for your explanation. I find our experiences in life can help us to cope or not. I'm not the strongest person when it comes to coping, I try to avoid situations, that will cause me stress. Especially at this time in my life, getting older comes with it's own stresses and fears. I may see it, but will fast forward when it comes to things I might find too difficult. I guess, I'm a person that has to go slowly.
