Sometimes I'll see an ad and think the person's post is about that not realizing it's an ad. Some of them (like meet hot single men/ladies ads) make me scratch me head like "What is that person trying to say???" Then I realize it's in ad in their post. Some are humorous as I think "I wonder if that member knew they had a hair replacement ad in their post."
Many times I've tried to click on the "like" right under an ad and wound up opening the ad. Not cool.

She wasn't talking about a member from that thread, the new one or this one. It was a former member from something entirely different.actually, the bob saget thread was the original...
Some members started to leave for "personal issues" with other members.. then others just left (life reasons).
Then the thread was closed. Most posters moved to chit chat.
There was some feuds between someone from the Saget thread and members of this thread as well.
Hell, I was even invited and attempted to be dragged out by some individuals I dont want to name.
I feel strange being like this..
watching the fireworks from the sidelines...

I've had this problem too.I have an issue quoting people sometimes. I hit "reply" and it doesn't show up so I hit it again thinking I didn't do it right. Then the quote shows up multiple times.

since someone mentioned the "new" bob saget thread, I thought the talk was still about that.
Anyway seems I will have to burn bridges.. I mean what a reception I had there!!.
so much for "friendliness".
I suppose I will only watch until @Andrew C 's report is completed. Loved the photos.

We don't start until the day after Labour Day.
And both of mine are going back! Son #2 just handed in his two weeks' notice. As much as he enjoys welding, his compromised lungs (from birth) just can't hack it. No pun intended.
And despite his quitting smoking more than 6 months ago, every morning I hear him coughing like crazy and have unpleasant flashbacks to my parents' final months.
So, back to school he goes. (Just not in 9 days!)

With the exception of Titanic (duh!), if I don't watch it on the big screen at the theatre, there is very little chance I will see it. I'm just not a movie watcher on television.

A year or two. Not heavily. But as I said, he has lung issues from birth, and was a dumb-a$$ for having ever started!
For Pete's sake, he was at my father's bedside for the final 12 hours of his life before he succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 62! All three of my idiot brothers smoke too!

I'm so the opposite - there aren't a lot of movies I see in the theater anymore. It's like we're reverse doppelgangers.

A couple years isn't too bad - hopefully his lungs will recover somewhat at least.
I guess smoking can really sink its hooks in, although I don't understand it either. I've tried it a few times and it was so painful!
But for others it seems so easy.
