Thank you so much, I think balloons are so pretty. I'd never have the guts to go up in one but very beautiful!
I live in Albuquerque so I grew up with hot air balloons. When I was little, before the time of lawsuits, balloons would land at our school playground and tether. We all would take turns going up. We also were allowed to go in the balloons as they were being inflated at the Balloon Fiesta.

I was in band in high school, and we practiced during zero period, which started at 7am! And I think I can safely say I didn't suffer most of the risks listed in the article.
Last year, my DS had the double whammy. Up at 6, to be in his seat for his first class at 7:30. If he had to take the bus for whatever reason, bus pick up was at 6:45. Because of his classes (3 AP's), he often had to stay up until 1, sometimes 2 in the morning. I think 1 was the earliest he ever made it to bed, though. So, yeah, 5 hours of sleep on average, a night.
