I hope they fix the food at the Studios. They just can't seem to get past blah to icky in too many venues. We generally eat at Starring Rolls which the sandiches would fill your growing boys or Prime Time that also have mega servings for growing boys for an TS choice. Most times we avoid eating at the Studios all together. I really hate the food court by Rock'n and so not a fan of Pizza Planet, like the concept but the frozen pizza they purchase from the Chicago vendor, well it is just that, low budget frozen pizza.
Not to mention that a lot of restaurants close very early.
I was annoyed (in my feb trip) that most food venues farther than Indy, were closed.
Only the quick ones on the TOT were open. (probably in preparation of Fantasmic)

Me, I always always get hoppers. I love the freedom to hop elsewhere if a park is overcrowded or we need a change, meal elsewhere or end the day with the park that is open late. I'd take less TS meals over giving up my hopping. We often end most days with MK as it open late many days and is most likely to have its hours extended unexpectedly.
You know, speaking of hoppers...
I'm kinda worried about going during News Years.
We plan on going to Epcot.. but.. do Epcot stops accepting people(when it starts reaching capacity) even if you have tickets and fatpasses for the day?
I fear that if I we get too late to Epcot.. we will get left out.

In the other hand.. I sorta do not want to be in Epcot in the morning. Id rather be at AK.

I just got a really good giggle as my dog likes the cheap stuff. LOL Kibbles and bits not chunks (YUCK or so she says) and gravy train. I've tried to feed her the "good stuff" She doesn't like any of them. I've tried so many different foods over the years and those are the only 2 she'll eat. At her age she's not changing anytime soon
I wonder if its related to the chemicals and fake flavors that "hook" the pet to the cheap brands.

I still shudder at the news about how some brands made in china even contained poison.
And some normal west brands, are the worst parts (including falling apart food), reprocessed and turned to dust.

I plan to! Good morning, Figgy!!! :)

Just spent close to an hour looking online at different dog food brands and formulations. Always fed Pedigree to my dogs over the years, but they put out an "improved" formula and my dog doesn't seem to like it. (Physically, it's not seeming to agree with him; it's not him just being picky.)

I was thinking I might try one of the limited grain formulations (a few of the higher end, more expensive brands (sold in pet stores) offer those; although much to my surprise, both Petsmart and Petco carry Purina's special line of Pro Plan options). Limited grain food seems to be easier to digest. I'll try a smaller bag of whatever, and maybe mix some of the new dog food with the old to begin with, and then increase it to see what happens). If he picks the new stuff out of the old, then I'll know he likes it.

Never realized how many brands and formulations of dog food there are out there now. It's a bit overwhelming. And if you pay attention to the reviews, all have both good and bad reviews. Basically, it's just a carp shoot whatever works for your particular dog.

@donaldtoo , @catmom46 , and @FutureCEO , and @Gabe1 , what are you all feeding your dogs? Just curious.
We feed our princess nutro small breed adult. Good luck. It is very difficult to figure out what should be so easy.

AK is so far a 8 the rest of the parks are 10 for the day. It will be nasty crowded no matter where you land. Here is one the best explanations I've seen

It's a salad day here and everyday until the middle of the week as it's going be nice and warm

Horrid pop up storms are hitting here this afternoon. I was up North and heading home, as I was within 5 miles of home went from dry pavement to covered in branches and leaves. Guess we got golf ball sized hail High Winds. One Festival Tent aways East of us killed one when it collapsed, 3 seriously hurt and 20 transported. A dome tent by Ohare came down, Lollapalooza was evacuated. Lots of people without power. This is suppose to go on through the wee hours of the morning. Now it is 90, windy, sunny and humid.

Parts of Wisconsin has been getting these mega pop up storms too. Oy.

I've fed the last 3 Pups Iams. I buy it at Target, it is more widely available now. I buy the smaller kibble pieces. There regular grocery store brands that are cheaper and they tend to also like have too many fillers and what they *leave behind* is substantially larger than a better quality food. I don't know about health wise one being any better, however I'm all for Walt leaving smaller.......

Also you need to be careful about some brands sometimes the house brands but others too. While manufactured here some of the additives in food and treats are imported from places like China. It wasn't many years ago when a lot of pets were lost due to tainted additives.

It's been crazy up here all day. We had thunderstorms early this morning and then it cleared up. We had a couple storms roll around us and the weather radio was giving alerts. The thunder was so strong it was rattling the windows, but we got nothing. A friend from 5 miles away said he had ping pong ball sized hail at his place from one of them. Then about 2 hours ago we had heavy rain and high winds move through. The sun is back out now... Really crazy weather patterns lately! The good news is that we did get the hay off the field and into the barn before it got wet. We're supposed to get the oats and straw off this week - weather permitting.
