Me too. I also like lumpy cream of wheat.
Me too! My mother used to make it with a lot of lumps, but, mine always comes out smooth. I don't know what she did, or possibly didn't do, to make it come out that way.
When I go to heaven (ha! Like that's ever going to happen??!! ), the temperature will never rise about 75 and no humidity (for summer months only), and the rest of the year will be between 10 degrees and 40. Divine . . . :inlove:

Oh, good morning, by the way!
I'm thinking I had better bring a blanket with me. That sounds chilly. That said, however, I'm thinking that where I'm going a blanket should not be necessary.
I like their morning biscuits, with egg.
Personally, I cannot walk past a Sausage Burrito. Love um! Best thing McD's ever came up with and cheap too!
My cat gets in the tub, and meows like a lunatic until I do turn on the water. She'll even stay if I turn on the shower, provided it's not too forceful.
Stupid cat.

She also lays in the sink with the water running.

A thousand apologies for what appears to maybe, possibly be a bra in the background.
You sure... it looks more like a car cover from here. :-0

In The News: I had a good/bad day today. First the Bad... Today I was informed that I have prostate cancer. Then the good... it's not at a point where they think I need to do anything about it and that it might develop or it might just stay at the semi-dormant stage for a long time. We are going into monitor mode. So although it's not good news, it's not the worst I could get either. Just not a great thing to tell anyone on the day after their birthday.

That's okay. I'm a little sensitive I guess to people (especially in my state of Wisconsin) thinking that teachers aren't really working and have an easy job. I know we aren't supposed to talk politics on here, but teachers in my state have been beaten up the last few years by the legislators and governor. No harm done by you though.
Teachers have of the hardest, most important jobs there is.

I am so sorry for your diagnosis and I'm praying it stays in the dormant stage. My thoughts and prayers I send you.

Very cute. At least she likes the water, though. Belle jumps in both the sink and the bathtub, not thinking about the fact that the water could turn on and she could get wet.

It was kind of fun watching her try to get out. She kind of did that cartoon run in place thing.:joyfull:

I'd say most of us here are women, and most of the men here live with women. Ain nothin' we haven't seen before.

I'm glad you chose to stay at home. It's cleaner, safer, and more comfortable.
I go to a small school that's almost in the middle of nowhere. It's safe. The most exciting thing we ever had happen was a shooting scare that turned out to be some kids hunting in the woods (they weren't supposed to, but anyway...). Dorms are less than a decade old. As far as dorm rooms go, they are actually very, very nice. No communal bathrooms, apartments available, etc.

But home has my cat, so...

My friend, my condolences. Hopefully it's the kind my uncle had. He received minor treatment upon diagnosis, and then lived with it for 15 years before dying of a stroke.

And happy belated birthday. What did you get? Where did you go? And who helped you blow out those many, many, many candles?

Either way, that doesn't sound like much fun. So sorry to hear that.

Let's see, what did I get. 1. A gift certificate "ticket" for one day admission to Disneyland Paris, a restaurant gift certificate, a golf course gift certificate and the greatest homemade birthday card ever made from my granddaughter. I went to my daughters house where we were joined by my other daughter and family. No candles (I don't think her insurance company allowed it) she made me a chocolate trifle that couldn't be beat (to quote Arlo Guthrie). It was a lot of fun. However, I did notice that the rate of return, based on what I spend on gifts, was sadly very short of the goal.
