A little shopping, a delayed anniversary getaway, a respite from Beavis & Butthead.

Also I need to stock up on a certain OTC medication that is not available in Canada.

We're having our fancy shmancy dinner tonight. Outback, or something else not available up here, for dinner tomorrow. Wings are probably not on the menu for either day.

We will likely also tour the Falls from your side tomorrow.

Have fun! Outback sounds really good, especially a Bloomin' Onion.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Sounds amazing enjoy the respite. We're planning one for 2017. OTC? What can't you get?
AZO - phenazopyridine.
I have a scrip for it, but it's not available up here, except at a pharmacy that does their own compounding. I forget exactly how much they quoted me, but something close to $300 for 90 tablets.
I buy the generic brands at Walgreens/Wegmans for $3 for 24!

Yup. No more Outbacks up here, so it's a not an everyday thing for us. Same reason we really enjoy Olive Garden.

We don't have any Outbacks really near us anymore either, about an hour and 20 minute drive. We do have an Olive Garden within a half an hour. That is where hubby took me for date night on Saturday. Olive Garden has a new make your own tour of Italy with some fun choices.

I went to instant, cause hubby likes no lumps in his potatoes. Me, I'll take them anyway I can get them. I store my butter in the freezer, and buy the half stick kind. It will keep 6 month's in freezer. So no waste, as I cook with olive oil too. No canola oil for me, sis said she researched it and canola oil is used to clean garage floors. She wasn't kidding, and she is way more health cautious than me. :cautious:
I wonder why there isnt a machine to make potatoes with zero lumps :P
I remember in my culinary act.. how much compressing and squeezing required to make proper french style mashed potatoes with herbs.

thank god for generics. Can you imagine if you were forced to pay the original ones all the time? what a robbery!
