I love your Figment!

I saw fannie packs at Aeropostale this summer. I wonder if they will make a comeback? Or if it will be a marketing FAIL?

I actually like the way that looks. I may need to do some online shopping soon. I do have 0% interest for 5 more months on my Disney Rewards card...:greedy:

I love that place. I haven't been in a few years and can't wait to get back. I do miss the factory tours they used to give. You took the monorail to the factory took the tour and returned to the park. Best part they had discounted candy at the end of the tour. Nothing wrong or out of date, just wrappers were a bit crooked. Did you get your piece of chocolate at the end of the chocolate world ride?

Cheer up, it might just be a name change, price increase, Disney is famous for that.

If I am not mistaken the mart been gone for years already???? I use to love it too but I don't remember it from my last several trips. They almost have a knock of the Mart (if it is still there) in the Co-Op building called MarketPlace Fun Finds. Instead of $10 or less it was higher maybe $20-$25 or less. I found some worthy things at both but got taken a few times too. I bought some glassware that the paint melted off in the dishwasher. I found these two places to be a last chance before we ship this stuff off to the Cast Member store off sight kinda place. Not necessarily bad stuff by any means but certainly buyer beware.

Have you ever taken the cog railroad to the top of Pikes Peak. I always wanted too, but, ended up driving up there instead. That was worth it due to the shear number of panicking females in the car on the way back down. I probably didn't help it much by occasionally yelling out... "OMG, the brakes have stopped working." I'm a fun guy to be around.:angelic:;):joyfull:
:hilarious: Yes, did the cog railroad, it was a nice ride with beautiful scenery . Although, it was a little scary when you looked back down the mountain.;)

It happened at both the concerts for us this year, my nephew's concert. :brb:'s with phones blocking everybody else's view seem to be everywhere these days. The ones doing it with selfie stix are the worst from what I've heard.

I'm waiting for selfie sticks to be banned at schools soon, like at Disney some people are careless and inconsiderate of others around them. We are toying with adding language to our banned items to our school board policy. Kids nor parents really have a need for these on school property or trips. Some of those sticks are built like a police club, not good.

I'm not a gore person either. Historical or fantasy battle scenes are fine. For all my love of the Halloween holiday, I do not like slasher movies.

Some of my favorite horror movies are Halloween, Texas Chain Saw Massacre (the original, which actually has very little gore/blood), Nightmare on Elm Street, Exorcist, The Thing, The Fly, Hellraiser, Saw, Carrie, and April Fool's Day (1986 version, more cheese than horror).

And on that note of people acting selfishly and thinking of just their needs...flashback to when Osborne lights at MGM were also on the houses and you walked under an arch of lights back there. It wasn't a show back then, a self paced walk through. We were in Disney for like 18 days, 10 of which were with my folks (different room) over the entire Christmas Break. Must be noted my Dad had been feeling poorly for months already and had done some squirrely things over the last 6 months, he worked with asbestos a good chunk of his life and thought he was quickly dying. (it was gallbladder failure which almost did kill him, he turned orange cause he wouldn't go to the doctor.) My DD was 4 years and my DS was 9 years old.

So the lights at Osborne were very crowded being Christmas. My DD was in the tiny umbrella stroller my Dad was pushing. You really needed to get close to the curb area to get a good look at the houses though the entire street was open and packed. My Dad purposely was moving guests along by knock into guests with the stroller to clear way so my DD could see the houses while sitting in the stroller. At first I thought it was just him being clueless but it became apparent he was clearing paths and I had a fear for other guests and my DD having someone tople on her. I pulled her out of the stroller and held her so she could see. Didn't cure it. He continued to use the the stroller so he could see the exhibit in a more timely fashion. How someone didn't haul off and punch him is beyond me. While my Mom has gone on a few more trips with us to Disney we banned my Dad from Disney. He has not returned with or without us. We needed the week after they went home to recover. Will never forget that trip.

I've never watched any of these movies. Guess I need to add to my list.

Traveling with parents can be nice and stressful at the same time. I took Mom and Dad to Disney one time. Neither one wanted to get on another plane. They sat on the tarmac, for 5 hours, and neither would get up to use the bathroom.:confused:
