I dont like to put loose stuff in my pockets.. if I go into a coaster.. they might end up flying.
call me paranoic, but I've lost stuff from pockets alone many times.
a wallet doesnt fall that easily (plus as foreign, you have to have with you either your VISA and/or passport at all times). Visas are too important to leave them loose in a pocket. I carry them fiercely protected in a kangaroo bag or in my wallet :p

I like your selection of a kangaroo bag. You must look very stylish! :)

So, Gilligan's Island was on TV a little while ago. Now I know why The Professor was so smart (but could never get the castaways off the island, but that's another story . .. ). Anyway == The Professor had his BA from USC; his BS from UCLA, his MA from SMU, and his PhD from TCU -- at the age of fifteen!! :hilarious: :hilarious:

I love that show! :joyfull:

I love Gilligan's Island too. I have a couple of seasons on DVD and when my 10 yr old niece was visiting a couple months ago she pick one of the seasons to watch. She has good taste! Next time she visits I might have to show her Bewitched or I Dream of Jeanie, she hasn't watched those and they were great shows too.

You would think that anyone that could build a radio out of a coconut, could have been able to find some wood and fix the boat wouldn't you? I, however, would have been willing to swim the Pacific just to bring Mary Ann to safety.

Sorry to hear about Waltie's daily meds regimen. :( I'm sure they make him feel better though. He knows you take good care of him.

I shake the bottle he comes from where ever he is, sits down, I tell him to say Ahhhh (yeah right) pry his mouth open shove them to the back of his throat and give him a cookie. Done. It is for his arthritis. Getting old is sucidoodles.

I admire you, I could never do 2 weeks in one room. I'd need money for bail because at some point I'd lose it and just start yelling get out the :brb: bathroom. With my NY area accent somebody would be scared and call security!:hilarious:

Yeah, it is a thing of the past now. When we have traveled as a family unit even for weddings we get 2 rooms, it is just tough with 4 adults. When my DD graduated college we had 4 rooms DD was in her dorm room. I put my DS and his woman on a different floor, 'cause I knew my mother would melt down  that was an interesting moment, oh Grandma.

See the things you have to look forward too? :)

Thanks! DD is 7. She did better on this trip than the one 4 years ago in regard to going on more rides, but the heat definitely did not agree with her (unless we were in the pool or water park)! Everywhere we went she was either too hot or too cold.

Yeah, summer vacations are hard on many. We took our kids out of school, usually in October/November for a couple weeks, we were all so much more happy than when we'd go down for the 4th of July.
