Me too! I was warned about false posts. That's all I know! It looks like he is in Israel? Or am I stupid?
No, I don't think so. He is in Israel. That's not the problem. The few things that have been mentioned are the situation. Posting inappropriate pictures (multi), taking over threads seemingly to make it his own instead of making his own thread, using the martyr excuse every time someone tries to kindly direct him to posting guide lines and not being able to be trusted concerning his stories, situations and motivations. The lying incident involved telling everyone that he was leaving the country to work in the Peace Corps. Not to go into total detail, but, many people offered congratulations, support and praise. Someone finally called him on the details and he readily admitted that he made the whole thing up (as a joke) and didn't think anyone would take him seriously. Then just within the last few days, has said that he was depressed and calling out for help. Even if true, lying to people as a reaction to depression is not something that is acceptable. The Mom even came on and reported that this was not the first time this had happened with him on the boards.

So because of that I do not trust him to do anything but be who he has been in the past. This recent coverage of his newly made Israeli Citizenship after living there for 4 days just leads me to not be overly believing. Anyway, I should have just kept out of it, and from this point on, I will, but, I do hate to see all of us being taken for chumps. He has yelled wolf often enough now to not have earned my faith in him. And that will be the end of my comments on the subject.

This morning, I texted my grandmother. She said that last night my stepgrandfather had not been doing well. I asked her what that meant. She said his breathing had been bad and she had been worried that he was dying. Which then prompted me to call her to figure out what was going on, had she taken him to the hospital, if not, was he going to the doctor, was she alone, did she need someone to come up, what was going on. After talking to her for a while about what was going on (she is not alone; she has a friend there) and discovering that his physical therapist told him to take Clairatin, he took one several days ago, and that he had been outside a good bit yesterday, I told her I thought it might just be allergies (especially since other than being tired, he doesn't otherwise feel bad) and to call me after his doctor's appointment tomorrow.

So now that we've had our scare for today...I'm very much hoping I'm right. We'll find out tomorrow.

Best wishes to your stepgrandfather. As you said, perhaps allergies may have something to do with his present condition. Let's hope he starts to feel a bit better tomorrow. I'm glad you called your grandmother as I know that would help her a lot, just to know that someone was caring enough to give her a call.

They aren't neglected. The cats here may be strays but the city feeds and takes care of them. They are all friendly and approachable. They are like public pets for the whole city to love! :)
Do they spay and neuter them, so they don't reproduce? There are just too many unwanted or miss treated animals in the world. I'm only passing judgement on humans, who are to be good stewards of God's creations. No offence to anyone who reads this. Just my understanding of human's responsibility.

For the ladies here I have a question. Where can I find a one piece bathing suit that has a bit of coverage (no silly cut outs, too low cut etc. )? Something fit for public consumption. Hopefully something that won't break the bank either.THNX

I agree with @StarWarsGirl95 about Lands End, but I also think that L L Bean has some nice suits as well. (I like the two piece ones, myself.) They're a bit pricey, but really hold up between the chlorine in the pools and multiple wearings. I hope you find a nice new bathing suit.

speaking of stuff..

yesterday.. my mother had to pick up my grandmah to go to eat somewhere.

Since her car broke down agaaaaaaaaaaaaaain.....(the jeep)
We decided to just play it safe and went with my car to the beach to a nearby restaurant.

I always order my favourite dish!

Its a platter of seafood (fish, shrimp, octopus, snail, crab and other stuff) in garlic with pasilla chile sauce. :hungry:

As for the beach.. it was nothing fancy. It wasn't as packed as I expected, despite the vacation day.
and it was relaxing to see the beach!

@ajrwdwgirl , these pictures today are so amazing. That must have been a blast riding on Eurostar under the English Channel!! Not many people can say they've done that!

But my favorites today were the rooftops of London. Why? Because my mind immediately went to Mary Poppins and I could see the chimney sweeps working and dancing on the rooftops of London!

Meanwhile your food pictures had me drooling (again . . .). You two really know how to enjoy your vacation!!

As you know, I haven't bought a suit for years. But, QVC has some suits, I don't know if the price is good or not. Happy or not hunting. I wish I lived in the 20's when suits went from top to the end of legs!

You will be in my prayers tonight, along with family...allergies can mimic so many things...good to check with Doctor.

Good night. Time to finish getting dinner ready. There's going to be left overs as it's only 3 of us tonight. I'm missing my baby and no extra kids! Help I'm not sure I can cook for less than 6:eek::oops::banghead:
Hubby and I would love to have anyone's left overs. Can you tell I'm tired of cooking, for over 40 years. We couldn't afford to eat out much. Now, we just don't have any good cheap places to eat. :D

I still think you should just limit the amount of photos you post, and put the rest of a special thread.
you're posting too much. Almost feels like you're claiming this thread just for you and your visit to Israel.

just chill, tone it down a bit, noone needs to know every single tiny detail in a public thread where many people participate.
If you want to explain with every detail, create a trip report thread.

Your comments above to Peter are appropriate.

As you and a few others have suggested, a separate trip report by him is the best solution. People who are interested in the trip will read it, and others who are not interested, will not.

Peter, Peter. Where did I say you have a reputation? Please quote me where I said you have a reputation. You have me confused with the G-Man. I was trying to be nice but you want to BRING DRAMA. PERIOD. And you know you do. Cesar and I are trying to be nice with the suggestion of starting your own thread because it does feel like this has become The Life Of Peter In Israel thread. You're there, you're happy, good for you. (clapping hands) You're excited to show us every detail...start your own thread.

Now since you felt the need to send me this huge rebuttal (funny how you don't do this to any of the dudes here o_O ) as to the pictures of the girls, as four (YES 4) members in this thread have hinted you HAVE posted a lot of them and we're not talking scantilly clad babes on the beach (because they will be modded). How many pics did you post of the girls dancing at the party? More than enough. You put four (Yes 4) pics of a female dj in one post, yet...yet you claim you haven't posted any pics of girls. Seriously?

Okay I'll say it Peter, because the new members don't know...you have a less than stellar reputation here and because of more than one incident. You are trying to start over (clapping hands) leave your past history in the past--which NO ONE but YOURSELF brought up. Which you will say you were defending yourself but it was more a plea for "feel bad for me" sympathy. Now before you decide AGAIN to talk down to me in another post I will let you know...I am not the one, dude. I'm just telling it like it is.
 who is Peter? ;)

I usually have luck at Kohl's. Not too pricey, not too skimpy. If you haven't tried, it's at least a good place to start.

I'm trying to adjust to feeding 3, and that would be my light eater. No one to pick up the slack! Got a little sad Sunday thinking in about a year, this is how all of our dinners will be.

I have had good luck with a site online called swimsuitsforall.com, as it suggests it has a variety of sizes, styles, and decent stuff often on clearance. I don't know about their return policy because I haven't ever had to return one.
