I made the mistake of joining a political forum the other week. Oy Vey. If you make a post, it has to be approved hours later, not to mention people will rip your head of if you have an opposing view.

We talk about politics in work all the time. It's a totally peaceful conversation.
thats pretty much in every political thread.
one side will only retort to "LOL LIBERALS" with some old school insults.
Then the other group will be "LOL CONSERVATIVES" with some new "flowered" insults.

and the ones caught in between will only facepalm in succession ;)

Whelp. My sister just called me and said she wants to do a week in WDW with our girls in April for their birthdays (they were born 9 days apart). She said to book PORS and book tonight if I can so she can tell work and my bro in law that it's all arranged. She is the boss and who am I to argue about booking a WDW trip anyways. :D
Love POR!!

Because we found cheaper prices (but arriving late) we added another day at WDW by staying at POR before moving to OKW.

I always seem to need sound. During the week I generally have talk radio going from 9am till about 6pm. Can't say I pay close attention but it keeps my brain from drifting to the dark side. I do that at night too. I don't turn the TV off, it is a distraction from my thoughts. I wake to weird shows in the morning from Raymond to Sponge Bob, very disconcerting first thing in the morning. :in pain:
funnily, I used to sleep very nicely with the vibration humm of our old central A/C unit.
Now after my dad's passing. I always get up instantly on any vibration. I fear some thief might enter by forcing doors open..etc..

speaking of stuff..

I'm angry in ways I cant describe right now.

Our president as been the worst piece of s... my country has faced.
He as been selling or ruining every government owned company.. ruining the insurance and health care as well...already breaking apart the company that gives the most to the coffers (needed to run the country). Aka PEMEX..
Also has been a total inept in stopping the NARCs.. infact, its rumored that he made a pact with a few of them.
And now they barely stop real narcs. Hell, the military even killed civilians, who had formed defence groups to stop the narcs from terrorizing their towns.

And now.. just a mere day after this clown(the president) left with a gigantic groupie (of more than 350 people, including family members.. as a total waste of resources) to france. One of the top narcs that were recaptured a few years ago, escaped today.
This guy is a monster.. has a fortune near the top 50 of FORBES and can easily topple small countries.

I'm seriously ashamed of how dirty and crappy the political class of my country is.
At this rate we will be in the same levels of an African Nation with barely any control.
But instead of having rebellions of a random General wanting a coup d'etat.. we will get narc wars.

True but out of context for the amazing architecture we were discussing that Disney builds. FL Studios are not amazing, just cheap knock offs of dull. Dull architecture in California or recreated dull in a theme park is dull nonetheless. With the Tower imagineers demonstrated how they could overcome dull when so motivated as is the Chinese Theater. Sadly with the Studios they went overboard with dull architecture ad nausea. They were a cheap, quick build to open before Universal, now Disney is living with the aftermath, a park that isn't inspirational that needs to be gutted at great expense. So much for a lame attempt for trying to mock the California Studios and pass it off as an all day theme park. Some of the attractions have great merit just not the architecture that supports them.
really? where did this happen?

I have between now (1:50pm) and 7pm before I'm supposed to join the family for the close of shabbot (sabbath). Real religious Jewish families do not use any electronics during the sabbath, so my updates now are breaking the rules, but I'm doing this in the privacy of my own room here. I'm totally showing respect for their sabbath by also going to synagogue with them and praying in ancient Hebrew (even though I am totally lost). The one thing I hate about joining them in praying at the synagogue is that they spend more time standing and praying than sitting and praying and my feet are absolutely killing me!

Tomorrow is the beginning of the work week. First thing I have to do is go to the bank and deposit that big check. They told me at that bank that they will open a line of credit to my account when I deposit that check, as well as set up a second account for the business I am starting. Essentially, the bank is giving me a fresh clean start as far as my credit is concerned. Those here who remember me from when I was PeterAlt should understand this is a big leap forward for me!

After I take care of business, it's either back to Jerusalem, or anywhere in Israel, and maybe find an apartment. There's not much available in the Jerusalem area that is affordable, so market forces may dictate that I find a place somewhere else.
Good luck finding a place. I hope hind you place quickly as I hated house hunting

Haven't seen either Minions movie yet. A friend of mine saw it yesterday as well, and she thought it wasn't anything special (I don't know if she saw the first one, but I assume she did as she has two children).

Most movies I never see in theaters, but on DVD months after the fact. I'm a little slow . . . :p
That's how we usually do it. With everybody's schedules around here finding the time to go is never easy. We will find time to see both SW and ST in the theater. I'm hoping for opening weekend for both.

Good point. The couch and love seat set I was looking at was the same brand as what I have. What I have, I have had for 10 years and the upholstery is worn (because of the dogs mostly) but the frame is in excellent shape. That is why I wanted to get it reupholstered, but I just might end up buying slipcovers as that is the cheapest option right now.
Between the boys and dog everything is slipcovered anyway:rolleyes:

Really? That's just the opposite of everything I've learned about milk. When did this revelation come out that now it makes you more prone to osteoporosis??!!! (Meanwhile, @JenniferS and @Andrew C and myself, all big fans of moo juice, are having a meltdown over this!!! :jawdrop: ) Recheck your source; it has to be wrong!! :(
The countries with the highest dairy consumption also have the highest rates of osteoporosis according to what I've read. As I can't have moo juice it really doesn't bother me.

Good almost morning! Another busy day. The guys are heading out for yard work duty and it's going to be nice so I'm hoping to finally go swimming after packing them up. My mil is keeping my little guy for the week to give me a bit of a break. It's not really a break as the boy's bathroom is getting gutted. That should be lots of fun NOT!

I love the teacups, dumbo and all the classic rides. When we were in Paris Space Mountain was down for repair and so was the carousel; I think I was more bummed about the carousel being down. Hubby can't take the teacups because they spin too much for him. So no matter which Disney park I'm at I'm always riding that solo. Although the Paris teacups hardly spun at all, I thought that maybe it was me but there was a cup with a very strong looking teenage boy trying to spin and he couldn't, he looked very frustrated. As for my pictures looking empty, the first hour and a half of the magic mornings were pretty slow, so not many pictures. It was great! It did get busier as the day went on though.

Even at WDW, sometimes it depends upon the Teacup that you're in. I've also had some that were very hard to spin. Other times (although not recently . . .), I've spun around like a top!

(It may be my imagination, but I really think that they ALL used to spin more, years ago. Nothing surprises me now--I wouldn't put it past them to tone down the spinning mechanism, due to complaints from some parents that they spun too fast for their kids, and the kids got scared . . . ) But truly, this is just speculation on my part; it just seems to be a trend here with some of the rides. Example: Look at Space in WDW; when they added that stupid trim brake toward the end, it killed the thrill of the drop.
