I made it back to Netanya on time for my 11am appointment! Talk about cutting it close! After my appointment, I plan on resting and charging all my batteries and then heading back to Jerusalem, where I have new friends I met over the past couple of days - an American girl from Hawaii, a girl from Barcelona, and a girl from Germany. @betty rose - I'll tell you about the histories after my battery charges.
Thanks! Be sure and rest. You are really busy!

Sympathy like! I saw that on the news. YUCK I'm glad @StarWarsGirl95 is nowhere near it with her asthma.
Right now with my asthma, I an old wheezer and an old geezer. ;)
I was going to say, Betty has asthma too! That's how she and I first met!;)

Hope all is well. Call your doctor if you are continuously using your inhaler, though. Even in bad conditions, you should not be using it more than twice a day for three days; that's a sign that your asthma is not under control, and you could end up in trouble. A lot of times, you can increase your controllers if you're not on a full dose. For instance, I'm on Dulera, which can be taken with two puffs once a day, but I'm normally on it with one puff once a day, so I can increase it to one puff twice a day and up to the full dosage if I need to (though I never have). Check with your doctor, though. You might be able to increase your controllers, or he/she might be able to prescribe something to help you through this period, until the smoke gets better.

And yes, you should be staying inside with your windows closed.

Thanks Star WarsGirl95. Wow, my Doctor never told me to only take it for three days! I'll call and ask what's up! So nice of you , to share your information. I want to say, I loved your pictures. They brought back so many memories, from the Hawaiian Village. I've loved sharing "your" vacation. I hope you got some rest. :)

Yup, it's one thing to take it because you're sick. It's quite another to be taking it every day more than once a day. Once a day for two weeks is also a sign. But generally, you shouldn't be using it that much, otherwise, you could get yourself into trouble! It's probably a good idea to consult with your doctor as what to do during the smoke problem.

You can also always take a health assessment.

Thanks. The jet lag is getting better. I went to bed at 3 am last night and intended to sleep until 10 am, but the cat and my friends (who were texting) had other ideas. I ended up waking up initially at 8:30 and then completely got up at 10:30, not getting much sleep in between. I have to leave in 20 minutes, but then will come home and nap. Hopefully I'll get more sleep tonight (and won't be up until 3 am).
