They get the afternoon off.

Also, I had to pick a health insurance provider when I got here yesterday at the airport. I thought they were all government owned and were the same so I picked one at random. When O told my relative here which one I chose, he told me the story about it...

There used to be one company that was government owned but recently it was privatized, allowing people to choose a provider. So, the former goverment owned provider is now private and there are two other big providers. It just happened to be that Tbe one I picked is the former government owned one. My relative here explained to me that I chose the wrong company because "everyone working there still has socialist bureaucratic habits; and, the other one is very competitive - a true capitalist.
I hope you can change, with no fee.

I love the idea of soup, and limiting dessert...think I'm going to do that and salad, no croutons. ;)
Croutons are not the calorie loader on salads. You can leave them off if you want, but to decrease calories, ask for the dressing on the side and dip your fork in the dressing instead of having it all over your salad. At home, if you like light dressings, go for it. To me they taste just like regular dressing, but less fat, and ergo less calories.

Thanks! :)

My biggest pet peeve on my commute are the "Left Lane Bandits". Even cops will tell you (I know 2 personally) even if your doin' 100 mph, if your not passing anyone, keep your rear over in the right lane, 'cause someone is always gonna' come along that wants go faster than you, and all your doin' by playin' "Pace Car" is impeding the flow of traffic and ****in' off people who would simply like to go around you.
Which, of course, is why a lot of idiots do it in the first place.
It's against the law to use the far left lane, except for passing, and if caught; you get a ticket! Colorado....

I had ketchup on my egg this morning, I love ketchup!:hungry:
Seriously, is it even possible to have eggs without ketchup on them. Seems like they would be terribly bland. I always thought that this was a northern thing. When we travel south I never saw that anyplace, however, since more and more "yankees" are deciding that ice and snow is not necessarily a "winter wonderland" and have moved south, I am seeing it more often.
The last sentence was obviously written with @MinnieM123 as the exception to the rule. There's got to be one in every group. ;)

Maybe a western thing, as I love eggs with just salt! Scrambled, poached, sunny side up, over medium, boiled, omelette...:hungry:

Ketchup? On eggs?:hungover:

No. If the eggs are just plain scrambled, then they must have salt and pepper only. If you're making them yourself, you should add ham, green pepper, maybe mushrooms, whatever you like, and then they are no longer bland.

Ketchup on eggs. I think you've been hanging around @JenniferS too much.

Sometimes the simplest things are the best. Actually I like scrambled eggs with just salt and pepper as well and the only thing that I always use ketchup on is fried eggs. (or egg mcmuffins)

I'm not sunburnt but definitely notice the color!

By the way, my relatives here are very religious and they are preparing now for the sabath that starts in like an hour. I'm all dressed for it. Here's a selfie I just took. Notice all my luggage all over the floor. They gave me my own little apartment here with a refrigerator and washer and drier!

We keep ham in the freezer, already chopped, so that is simple to add. Then in between two pieces of toast with a slice of cheese, preferably cheddar.:hungry:
