It is the only piece of fence we had to add to the property to totally enclose it. When we paved the stone driveway (yuck the dust) it made a weird transition once we put the fence up to keep the Pup in the yard. My Sis suggested Morning Glory's and it was a perfect solution. In the warm weather months it seals off the backyard that is so pretty from the driveway and looking into the garage when the door is open. A 25 foot 4 foot high wall of green and flowers. When it finishes growing in I'll post a picture. It is growing faster this year with all the rain.

Good Luck with that. I'm thinking come winter I'll catch up again. Today I hit the 95% level of pulling all the outdoor chores, the front and back yards and gardens look so pretty. Even got the last of the mulch in.

I still have some pesky weeds to deal with but I need a couple of dry days in a row for that to happen.

Awe, glad to bring the Midwest back into your life. I can't imagine Morning Glories not growing well anywhere, they are so invasive. I pull 75% of them as they make their way everywhere and their roots are so freak'n long. They are to the point where I don't even have to reseed, they just come back up in the spring from their own seeds. I have them in all colors including bi and tri colors.

I've never had any luck with growing green onions. I obliviously am doing something wrong, don't have luck with garlic either. Now Chive I have a nice invasive plot growing, they have pretty purple flowers too.

I sometimes get upset by the newer car designs though. For example, if I open the hood on mine all I see is another hood. I have no idea what the engine even looks like so I would probably turn away from attempting repairs at all. At the same time I can't help but remember how much maintenance the older cars took. You had to know where the spark plugs were because you were supposed to change them every 10 to 15K. (remember that... points, plugs and condenser plus timing light to move the distributor alignment just about every tune up. 2 degrees above top dead center, etc.) To my knowledge my plugs are still original. I know I have never changed them and when I bought the car it was only 3 years old. (actually closer to 2 years old). I can remember that I would take a bunch of tune-ups and a feeling of good luck to take any long distance trips with them and when they hit 80 to 90K you might just as well drive or tow them to the junkyard. I'd head cross country with mine tomorrow if there was a reason too, without any fear at all. The old cars may have been heavier and easier to get at mechanically, but, I really strongly feel that the dependability was much less then now. People are getting 300 and 400K miles out of a vehicle regularly now, that wasn't even a dream back then.
