Who does that?
I've never experienced that before.
cheap restaurants do it to make the avocado "rinse" more.
Also to prevent it from going dark too fast. That gives them excuse to use not so fresh avocado (or to keep the guacamole for more than 12 hours)

Good restaurants make the guacamole at the time. anything more than 1 hour out of the fridge.. the avocado will turn dark, with an awful texture and need to be trashed.

big paaaaass.. dos equis is really un popular in Mexico.
They have this..sorta "cheap" feeling on them.

Which is funny, as the CORONA is cheaper most of the time.
People who wnat something stronger, will always try the MODELO or INDIO.

Cultural, shmultural. I'm Chinese and I think it's barbaric, atrocious, and I'm ashamed of that aspect of my ancestry! Well, there's actually quite a bit that I'm not proud of...
well, speaking of cultural things..
I remember reading there is a huge uproar online right now.
Because its the Dog food day in china or something.. a festival where they.. kill, cook and eat dog.

Its very sad to see these scared dogs in very tiny cages, all packed and unable to move..

Oh, I thought it was Koreans who ate dogs. Ugh, now I have something else to be ashamed of! This is one of the reasons why I don't want to visit my "homeland".

Although apparently there are 11 countries that still eat dogs, including Mexico…and Switzerland?!?!?!

No
Hard Rock, PF Chang's, Cheesecake Factory, maybe Outback ....
:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
Yes, I am aware.

Keep in mind, we don't eat out very much at home, so it's rare for us to eat at any of these places. I've never been to Hard Rock at Baltimore, and I've only been to our local Cheesecake Factory twice and PF Chang's once.

We're doing some local places as well. But these are within walking distance, so for now, convenience wins. With me having food allergies, the bigger chains are usually more aware of what they are doing as well. We went to this local place a few years ago, and they had zero clue what they were doing. I'd rather not have to hit myself with the epi pen while here.
