I went over 25 years without making one rope drop. We are night owls plus we did very long Disney vacations so that helps. This last trip we made 4 rope drops. A major record for DD and me however we didn't close too many parks on that trips. With us it is really one or the other. Can't stay up 'till 2 or 3 am and be up again at 6 am. We'd be cranky.
Yea I think a lot of when you go to the parks depends on the hours you keep at home. Morning people have no problem with rope drop while night owls can stay for the evening magic hours. And some people are going from mountain or pacific time to eastern time so there is a time difference.
On some other threads people are talking about how awful the 24 hour party is but this will be my third. I don't go for the dance parties or entertainment I just like being in the MK in the middle of the night. I work graveyard so it's easy for me.
I just don't understand the judgement placed on people for how they do the parks. Why do people care what time people show up?

Ha! :p I know, huh? :D Do you think he prefers Revlon or Lancome? ;) (Actually, that's one of the reasons why I find Arctic foxes so beautiful--their dark eyes against all that white fur/ Except in summer, their coats turn more colors to blend in more with their summer environment, to protect them against other predators.)
They are gorgeous but you really like them because they remind you of snow right? ;)

Dogs are just so funny! :joyfull: A lot of them try to sneak off with socks and/or shoes. I like how your dog would take just one show from each pair, and then bury them under stuff! ;) But, years ago, my (previous) dog can top that one. She was sniffing around the laundry basket, next to the washing machine. Hubby had left the back door open, while he went outside to put something in the trash can. He turns around to walk back to the house, and the dog went running past him, and down the street with a bra in her mouth!! He bolts after her and caught her at the end of the street, and confiscated the contraband!
I had a black spaniel mix when I was little, I named her Piglet. She never could have puppies and she saw a couple of other of our dogs have litters. She used to steal my dad's black socks and only the black ones. We think they were her "babies."

I am impressed with the new Legoland Hotel with all the reviews, videos and photos that have spilled out from the Media event. The offerings, decor and rooms are imagineered so nicely for all those kids that are addicted to Lego's like my DD was. She would have loved staying at this resort years ago.

Legoland needed to put out there a competitive resort to make it in the Disney/Uni market and it seems they rose to challenge. They knew their target audience. The family suites are themed to nicely.

*Thinks back* to all the money spent on Lego's over those years. :jawdrop:
And it will be easy to renovate since it's made of legos.

Ha! Are you still playing insomniac? I have given that up for the most part, a few days here and there but nothing like I had been experiencing the years before. Amen.

Actually, for quite a while now, most of the time anyway, I've been hittin' the hay anywhere from 1-2 hours earlier than a while back. I just seem to be more relaxed as of late. You seem to be experiencing same. Glad to hear. I like relaxed rest. :)

Sooooo looovveee Jason Deli's Reuben's. I omit the Thousand Island Dressing though and add brown mustard. When it is not take out you are encouraged to go to the salad bar and help yourself to as many Kosher Pickles to accompany the Reuben as you please. :hungry:

I prefer 'em just the way they make 'em with the tangy-sweet Russian/Thousand Island dressing. I love that combination of flavors all put together. :hungry:
And yes, that salad bar has so much good stuff. :)
