When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Somehow I ended up with Bro #1 and #2 for dinner, as well as the four of us, Adopted Son, and Gen.
Steak, pork shank, chicken something or other, baked potatoes, salad (not pictured) and burgers (still on the BBQ at this point):
And oh look, I actually diced tomatoes and onions:
Chinette rocks!
Everything was lovely. Until it wasn't.
As per usual.
And yes, I had milk!

Me too. She's been up (and keeping me up too) the past two nights coughing up super phlegm.She never gets sick but when she does it's bad. She's just been laying on the couch watching That Metal Show.
Sympathy "like".
Hope she feels better, soon.

Speaking for myself, your comments and thoughts are just as appreciated and welcomed as anybody else's here, Bets...!
I wholeheartedly agree @betty rose we have our moments here but we always move forward when our dander as you put it gets up. It is what makes this group kinda special.

We also had breakfast at Mickey's Dining Car in St. Paul. If you have ever seen the first Mighty Ducks movie or the Jingle All the Way movie it is featured in those. And it has been on some food network specials.... Anyway, we had ham and cheese omelets (which are light and airy), bacon, toast, and house made hash browns. It was also delicious. I will have to go back to eating sensibly on Monday. Tomorrow we are celebrating burger month again, hubby is making some sort of Asian inspired burger.
Here's breakfast...
Oh my goodness, that looks amazing. As I catch up on the thread I hope to see the end result of Asian burgers.

Yea, I don't know. It seems to come, maybe, more in spurts for us...? But, we're definitely not goin' out again until next weekend.
And, you're definitely not gonna' catch any grief from me. Frankly, I wish y'all went out to eat every night for your great food pics...!
I have lovely photo's of our meals today but they will have to keep until tomorrow. We took the train early this morning to Chicago. We ate at an over the top new to us place with food variations that I've never had before. Such a cool place in Lincoln Park, Chicago. That is also where the Lincoln Park Zoo is. Not the Zoo I grew up with, as a kid I only went a handful of times, we headed usually to Brookfield. We left the restaurant and headed to the Zoo two blocks away, a new place for my DS that was in town briefly to see me on Mothers Day.
He and my DD had a blast as did I. Such a great Day.

I knew it wasn't Belle's mom because when we went to Enchanted Tales with Belle I took a picture of the painting of her and her mother on the wall.I was taking a break from a LONG day of studying and was like, "Hmm, I still don't know who that was..." Then I guessed Belle's mom, and on Google, she popped up. FYI, I did have to look up the spelling on a couple of names on the list. Like Hercules' adoptive mom. Most of those I knew just because I grew up watching a lot of them.
These finals are going to kill me. Sleep deprived, overworked, and exhausted. Looked in the mirror today and was like
One week left. One week left...
One more week...one more week...if I say it too it might go faster.

That's my daughter and Mickey Ears. She has a set for every trip we've made. She has 21.

She and Ski were skateboarding (long boarding, technically) and she fall down go boom.Oh my goodness what the heck happened to her, I missed two days of posts, someone link me back to what happened to this princess.
Her thigh and side of her knee took the worst of it; as well as her face, obviously.
Numerous other smaller boo boos. Nothing broken.
She worked an 8-hr. shift at McDonald's today, proving that she's a pretty tough cookie.

That I have not done, even though I love Beauty and the Beast. Haven't been with anyone who wants to do it. One of these days, gotta get the nieces down there and will do it with them.
Ugh, would love for it to go faster. But hey, no early exams, so silver linings.

We did it during NFL rehearsals in Fall of 2012.
Ally was a bit of a pill that day, and played her part half-heartedly.
The dads chosen as guards (or whatever they were) were hysterical!
It's certainly worth doing.

S - Okay, I'm leaving. I warned you if you shut the air off I was going.
How about you open your window, shut your trap, and go to bed?! Better yet, go sleep on the back deck, under the pergola.
