You know what's funny?
You should have called the restaurant directly @Andrew C. I did for my afternoon tea and they added the third person.

It's not a big deal. We changed our plans for the better to get some more park time for our friend who is coming with us. Originally she was only going to be there for a day and a half but now she is staying for 2 and a half days. So instead of having dinner at the poly that night when we thought she would not be there we are doing a late lunch in epcot. And that way she can also see illuminations. This will be here first WDW trip.

Wasn't hard to tell that today is Mothers Day. I went to the mall to do my "walking" and the place was packed with Dad's and about a gazillion kids. No Mom's in sight. I suspect that they were all on a "get out of mom's hair" mission. One of the most interesting things I saw was an entire family of perhaps 20 people, all nicely dressed, not formal but nice casual, came into the Food Court for what looked like a massive Mother's Day dinner. From my quick count it looked like there were about a total of 6 Mothers in the group total.

I overheard one of the men asking one of the ladies what she would like and began listing the possibilities. Let's see there was 50's style hamburgers, Greek, Chinese, Subway, Japanese, Italian and Charlie's Cheesesteaks. One apparently had her heart set on chicken but, Chick fil-A is closed on Sunday. She seemed disappointed. Now understand, I did find it odd, but, on some level kind of charming. Not my idea of a celebration, but, this is redneck country so I'm guessing not all that unusual. And think of the variety of tastes that it covers. Absolute Genius and no tipping involved.

so trip update (ie...I'm home so I'm living the trip on my family's reports)

Getting a room was a long time. They got to Orlando Airport at 9 or little after...and didn't get a room til 4pm. I find it hard to believe Disney doesn't have any rooms available before 4 at Old Key West. Course, my dad wanted a top or so floor on Turtle Pond Rd.

They said Trail's End went a little downhill in food quality since last year. Wicked crowded. Hot (mid 90's). First day bus to Epcot, bus took a long time to get them. Pool is busy even the quiet pool which is never busy.

Every vacation my dad says not to get sick and the day before vacation, he got a sinus infection or something like that. So therefore my brother is sick now leaving my mother to start getting sick which leaves my sister to get it. And me not to get it.

I like that, less burden on the kids to buy Mom lunch, and everyone gets what they like. Plus, plus...to me. As long as I don't have to cook, I'm happy anywhere. :joyfull:

From left to right, starting at the top:
Snow White's Step mother
Rapunzel's mom
(The only one I'm not sure about)
Lady Tremaine
Queen Athena
Fa Li
Eudora
Queen Eleanor
Tarzan's mother
Quasimodo's mother
Chicha
Aurora's mother
Mrs. Darling
Kira's mother
Mother Gothel
Anna and Elsa's mother (in Once Upon a Time, her name is Gerda)
Alcmene, Hercules' adoptive mother
Hera, Hercules' biological mother
Naveen's mom
Sarah, Jim's mother from Treasure Planet
I got stuck on the same one you did and it drives me crazy I can't figure out who it is.

My daughter likes both. She's a Hello Kitty person.
You are never to old for Hello Kitty, I bought a hello Kitty watch from J.C.Penny...and it still works, much longer than more expensive watches. I fell in love with the Kitty. ..when my daughter did, I bought her a bunch of stuff throughout the years...it was as much for mama , as Kristi (my daughter's name).

Time for me to go, going to the kids house, going to watch a DVD that hubby made for me, and daughter...I think it's pictures from our last few trips to Disney...Should be fun and lots of laughs, then out to an early dinner, we are hoping we are between lunch and dinner crowds. We are going to Olive Garden, daughter's pick...after all that pasta I'm coming home in a carbohydrate coma.:D At least I will sleep good tonight.;)
